Vegas is super hot in the summer and I don't always like taking my 18 month old little girl out into the 112 degree heat. So, I figured this would be the perfect way to bring the water park to her! We live in a town house and don't have a backyard, just a garage and a private front patio area. This table fits perfectly out on our patio with our patio set. So don't be discouraged if you don't have a big yard. We just sweep up any mess that is left when she is done playing. The protective table lids/covers fit on top perfectly if the rope is tied correctly. As far as assembly goes, we have a suggestion to future buyers-- Yes, this table was a bit on the difficult side to assemble, so you definitely need patience. But, we came up with a little "tip" to make life much easier for you. Since there are no pre-drilled holes, you have some leeway as to where the screws go. We drilled the screws in on a slight ANGLE and it worked great. Also, make sure you have a drill that has both power and manual settings, it really helped us. I recommend this toy because a little patience pays off. Our little girl is so happy with her new activity table!!

My boys love this sandbox. It was not a hassle to put together. I like that you can cover one side while you are playing in the other side unlike a Step 2 table we considered buying.

I waited for 2 weeks to buy the Step 2 sand and activity table at [...] Unfortunately changed my mind to this! My daughter hasn't even played with it. I haven't even put the sand in and JUST FROM THE ASSEMBLY I'M READY TO TAKE IT BACK! THE SCREWS JUST TO PUT THE LEGS ON ARE SO HARD TO ACCESS THAT 9 SCREWS TOOK ME OVER AN HOUR AND AFTER USING A CORDLESS SCREW GUN WITH A BENDABLE SHAFT, A RATCHETING SCREWDRIVER, A SOCKET WRENCH WITH A SCREW TIP, AND 3 OR 4 SCREW BITS, I STILL CAN'T GET 1 OF THE SCREWS IN! I should have just stuck with the Step 2! Putting together a child's toy shouldn't give blisters on the hand putting it together! It might do it's duty entertaining her but the assembly is the worst. Wouldn't advise to buy this at all!

This is a cute product but it has some flaws. I love that it has an umbrella for shade...but, it's wobbly and leans to the side. I love the water play area...but, there is a huge hump in the middle which takes away so much of the play space. Also, the boats are too tall to 'sail' under the bridge. I also agree that assembly is a pain. My dad had to 'rig' it when he put it together (and he builds furniture for a living!).
The sandbox part is nice and big. There are so many sand/ water tables out there, if I had it to do over I would buy a different one. All that said... my 13 month old loves to play with it.

My 13 month old daughter loves this product! I can't walk past it in the yard without her asking to play with it. She also had older friends over who love playing with it. My only complaints are that the covers were very loose on top. We had to improvise to get them to stay on better and some of the pieces are too big to store in the covered toy.

There are no pre-drilled holes, and it is difficult to get the screws through the plastic. The space is to narrow to use a power screwdriver or drill. Assembly was a pain and the table is not very stable as a result.

I had to take three breaks before getting the table ready, mostly from the horrible screws. Still, the table is wobbly. However, my kids love it. I can tell my hands are really going to hurt bad tomorrow.

We used the table for weeks before I finally commissioned my husband to drill the screws in. That part about it is annoying, but all we all together love this play table.

We keep both sides filled with water because we have a sandbox, too. My 24 month old daughter will play and splash for hours. We love it.

My 2 1/2 year old loves this table! Here is a tip on putting it together...have someone push the table towards you as you are screwing the legs on! Or push it against a wall if you don't have help. You DO need a power drill for this. I had no problem with angling the drill to get the screws in. Also, I didn't strip any screws while putting it together and I didnt predrill any holes. It's not that difficult really! So if you put it together correctly it will not be wobbly, etc. The only thing I would change about this table is the little bands that hold the lids on. They might not last long. But this table has been outside during several storms and the lids have stayed on securely.

My son loves this toy. It was hard to assemble but when i called customer service to assist me, they were not only extremely friendly but knowledgeable about the item i purchased. Putting it together from that point on was a breeze! My son absolutely adores this toy. He is out there all day long, playin in the sand and water. He will be 2 years old in May. I recommend this toy to everyone!
