My cats find this toy very entertaining. Unfortunately it will not move on a carpet because there is not enough traction but I put down a large rectangle of corrugated cardboard which works well. The tail will flip the mouse on any surface, though, and this alone entertains the cats. In order to extend the battery life, I use a wall adapter to charge the mouse rather than connecting it to the remote control. This requires a 2.4 volt input which is difficult to find so I used the 1.5 volt setting on an adjustable adapter which worked fine. (Never use a voltage higher than 2.4.)

[...]cheap packaging, cheaply made and definitely not worth the price. Picture is very misleading. The mouse or rodent is 3 1/2 inches long by 1 inch wide and the remote is 4 inches in diameter.
