I bought 1 15 by 48 and the liner split after 5 months so figured try again.Bought another and the same results after 4 months. Water bill and the mess after the flood was crazy. Contacted the company and would put their customer service into a non existent level. Only buy if you want all the vegetation watered with in 50 feet!!

I Love this pool. The only promblem is it gets preety cold. But when it's warm it's a blast. It's great for kids and adults any age.

Got it on sale for [$]. I put it up all by myself. Wasn't bad. Had it up in about an hour. The hardest part for me was making sure the ground was level. In the past I had bought the rise as you fill style and thought I would try the metal frame this time. I like it a lot better. I don't think I would buy the rise as you fill again. The metal frame pool feels more sturdy and roomy. Also I bought the krystal clear salt water pump. This is my second time buying this pump. The last one gave me problems after two years. I literally do not have to do anything to the water the whole summer. The water stays beautifully clean so far. Would hightly recommend both pools and salt water filter.

Toys r Us sell pools manufactured in other countries - then something breaks and they cannot help you and the customer service of of the pools do not answer your calls and do not have e-mail addresses!!!!

We got this home and the kids were sooo excited! Well we spent FOREVER building it and then realized there are THREE huge holes straight through the pool. It looks like it got burned. Needless to say, Toys R Us won't allow you to return or exchange it and the company hasn't answered the phone. The repair patch they give isn't big enough and it doesn't include any glue. So happy 4th of July to my kids, we are out [$] and they have a huge piece of blue vinyl in the backyard where the "pool" was supposed to be.

Obviously this product is used for swimming and water play. We used it to beat the California summer heat and keep active during the summer. There is plenty of room to swim, do somersaults, handstands, and cannon balls (although, not recommended by the manufacturer). I recommend the 48" over any smaller height. For the money, it is a good value. This pool is easy to set up. It can be done by one person, but two is ideal. Depending on your setup location the whole process (leveling to begin filling) should not take you more than two hours. It is usually less time, however filling with water is time consuming. It took us eight hours total. The attach pool skimming works wonderful and reduces manual skimming. I researched that the pool filter should be run for about five (5) hours each day, but for our pool and environment two and a half hours daily has been sufficient. The included 'vacuum' is not the best. It works well at 'vacuuming' large remnants (grass, bugs, hair) from bottom of the pool, but just disturbs dirt. It eventually resettles. I wish this product also came with a brush attachment. The pool cover/debris cover is large and bulky. It needs to be to cover the pool, but for one person it is not easy to put on. It there was a way to attach one side while affixing the rest, it could be better. Storage for the cover is non existent. Basically it lies on the side of the pool until ready to put on. I wish this cover had solar properties to heat the pool better when on. Over all it is a great pool, great size, and great opportunity for fun, relaxation, and cooling off.

Purchased pool on Wednesday, assembled on Thursday and within the first 2 inches of water there were puddles forming around the outside of the pool. Called Intex and got recording that said they were experiencing a higher than normal call volume. Call back, not hold please. Call back and that Tuesdays are the best days to call. Called ToysRUs about return procedures and was told they don't take returns on pools and "sorry about that" Called Intex back and after a 15 minute hold time I got a lady with bad English and she emailed me a claim form. Communication was too difficult for me to get any other information. I returned the claim form by noon on Thursday. I haven't heard anything back and after a 20 minute hold today I was told that the claim would have to be approved by a supervisor and they don't work after 5 or on weekends. I'm not really sure what an approved claim means, but the customer service from both companies is very poor on this issue.

We have had this pool for five years,except for the 1st year,every year after that you will have lots of small holes to patch,mostly in the THIN bottom of the liner,other than that and a filter system that is too small for the gallonage of this pool(4,440)this is a VERY NICE backyard pool,perfect for adults and all our grandkids to have a LOT of fun in!
we did have to replace the burned out pump the second season so we got a "professional quality" filter/pump from a local pool company and it is SO much easier to vacuum and care for the pool with the 45GPM pump on it now.
overall,good pool bad filter/pump will need some costly replacements over time and if you don't mind patching all the holes you will have a very nice pool!

I love the Intex pools, this is my biggest one yet, graduated from a 31/2 foot one we had for four years. So the filter system is not the best, but like anything you have to keep on top of it and skim it daily. We love the pool, great price for a nice pool like this. Love It!!!

Last summer, my wife purchased a 4 ft x 18 ft Easy Set pool, based on the recommendations of friends. Unfortunately, it was a money pit.

We live in Florida, and I can count on two hands the number of times we got into that pool due to the poor filtration system that comes with your pools.

Before we even entered the pool, there was a hole in it. I called Intex and was told by a representative they were not responsible because it was probably a packaging problem. That is a great way to stand behind a product.

I was given two options: Patch it or send back the liner to be inspected. If it was truly discovered (doubtful) to be Intex's fault, then I would be given a new liner. If not, then the original would be returned.

I patched it.

The next problem was keeping it clean. I followed the instructions that came with the pool. I followed the instructions of the pool chemical companies. I continued to have algae, even though I vacuumed.

I brought water samples to a pool supply store. I followed their directions. I continued to have algae problems.

For the winter, we drained and cleaned the pool. We put new water in this summer. Sediment continued to form on the bottom of the pool. Vacuuming and chemicals were not enough to keep it clean.

I am draining the pool for the last time. If we had just saved the money spent on the pool and chemicals, we could have taken a nice vacation somewhere. Instead we wasted money at home and got aggravated.
