Product Description

Crayola's Easel Pad comes with 50 giant pages for freedom of artistic expression and hours of creative fun. For both drawing and painting.

Colors and styles may vary. Style selected at random when shipped.

From its earliest beginnings, Crayola has been a color company. Crayola came into being when cousins Edwin Binney and C. Harold Smith took over Edwin's father's pigment business in 1885. More than 120 years later, color - along with creativity, learning and most of all, fun - is the hallmark of Crayola's company. Crayola has called Easton, Pennsylvania its home since the early 1900s. Today, the Crayola's world headquarters and major manufacturing facilities are located there. And downtown Easton is the home of The Crayola FACTORY, a one-of-a-kind celebration of creative fun for everyone. In 1984, Crayola became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hallmark Cards and has since Crayola has played the lead role in Hallmark's personal development strategies.

Store clerk also sold me "Sidewalk Chalk". Instruction sheet INSIDE carton states "Do not use sidewalk chalk as too abrasive". back to store to return it. No other chalk available. Clerk suggests I go to Toys outlet store; they have last 2 boxes of proper Crayola Dust-Free chalk.

Ordered 2 pads of Crayola art paper that, supposedly, fits paper between raised frame on easel. When delivered, discover paper too wide to fit within frame and paper surface must be pushed in 1/2 inch EACH time pencil/pen touches paper for marks to register on paper. Had to cut each pad in half so as to fit properly making sheets rather thin.

this easel pad has been so great for my two year old! it keeps my toddler from scribbling off of the paper and onto valuable furniture or carpets and floors, plus he loves all the space he has to color and doodle.

Paper could be a bit thicker, so to prevent bleeding on next pages, I placed the pad cover under the sheet that was being painted on. Goes well with the Crayola chalk/magnet board easel.

My granddaughter loves to create art. She paints, crayons, uses coloured pencils, watercolours, etc. This paper is heavy enough despite her multi-layering tempra paints. Also it dries relatively flat and is sturdy enough so she can apply sequins, stickers, etc to enhance her artwork.

I use it mostly to do painting activities w my daughter. It was the biggest paper I found but it rips easily. I tried to keep it for coloring only but it does the same.

My grandchildren use this huge, thick pad for painting, chalk, crayons, and markers.

They also practice their scissors skills, as well creating paper jumbo jets, rolling into tubes, and using as mats for other messy projects.

Quite inexpensive considering the number of pages in each pad, and the huge size of the pages.

Paired with a set of markers, crayons, or paints and brushes, this makes a great gift for budding artists.
