I personally love this bassinet. It looks modern while still paying homage to tradition. It's big enough for my baby and then some. I wouldn't trade it for another. It was so easy to put together. I did it in about 10 min with no instructions. The bassinet itself is very sturdy and I feel comfortable putting my baby into it.
The cons:

Yes, the matress is thin. Infants don't need or want much cushioning. If you as a parent feel like it needs more, just add some blankets under the matress and it'll be fine.

Yes, the lower shelf is flimsy. I found that if I just put the shelf on the floor and used it that way it was fine. I have other shelves for the important stuff and only use the space below the bassinet for the changing pad, diapers and wipes that I'll need that night.

The last con is that the round bassinet will not go through a standard interior door so you can't take it from room to room. I didn't find that to be an issue since I slept when my baby did especially at first so I kept it in my bedroom.

I added this Bassinet to my baby registry because it looked lovely, spacious and perfect for my living conditions. I'm moving in about 3 months so I decided not to set up an entire nursery and just have my baby girl close by. My boss purchased this for me and I was extrememly excited to set it up and have it ready for my baby girl. The setting up part was easy. It looks actually bigger than the picture.

Downfall: The pad that it comes with is only 3/4" thick. No baby can sleep on that. I went and got a customized mattress pad about 4" thick to put below the one it came with. The bassinet is about 8" deep so imagine that 3/4" pad only in there. Also the bottom shelf that comes with the bassinet is very thin. It will not hold alot of weight. It may hold a small box of diapers and wipes but that's all.

Overall: Great for your money.

Looks just like the pic! Absolutely stunning! Easy to assemble and very sturdy. I put it together myself 8 months pregnant. We kept this one downstairs (crib upstairs)and wheeled it around to whatever room we were in. There's a lower shelf perfect for wipes, diapers, and whatnot cleverly concealed by the skirt! My only complaint is it comes with a VERY thin mattress pad, but it is an easy fix. Unfortunately my daughter was born over 10 lbs, so she didn't fit in for long. :( Well worth the money though!

The only negative thing is that it can't fit thru a door to move it from room to room, so I just keep it in the livingroom.

was perfect for my little princess. Reminded me of the bassinet from Sleeping Beauty. I wish my baby could have used it longer was the only issue. Weight wise, she could still fit, but length wise she's too big :(

Its very different, got lots of ooo and ahhs, but it is not all that sturdy, would not feel comfortable leaving anyone over 10 pounds in it.

Do not waste your time on this product! I am having a baby girl and was very disappointed.It looks nothing like it does in the picture and it looks cheap. The material is a waffle texture and totally changes the look and quality. Not to mention the pink ribbon is different colors on the canopy and on the skirt. And it is very hard trying to find new bedding for it that isnt this badger basket stuff. Screws were not fully drilled so if I didnt have professionals putting it together it would have never gotten done and it did NOT come w screw caps so there are big screw holes that you see around the bassinet. DO NOT ORDER! and mattress is paper thiN!

From the picture, we didn't know if it would be large enough on the inside for the baby, but we took a chance anyway and it definatly is! It's beautiful, and fits perfect in the bedroom corner. We are very pleased with our purchase. It does feel a little "not so soft" on the mattress but lay a few thin blankets under it and the baby should sleep pretty comfy and safe.
