I bought this to distract my son during diaper changes, and he loved it until we stopped diapering him. Now, it's doing the same for our daughter - it still looks like new!

This is a great toy to keep a young one distracted while changing diapers or just for entertainment and laughter. I like the Lamaze animals as they are wildly imaginative, colorful and each "limb" has a little hidden sound and texture feature. I don't know a child who hasn't been amazed by all the color and design.

We came across this toy while looking for a Sophie only to find out she cost $22 which in my opinion was way too much money for a piece of plastic. While looking at other giraffe's in the store this one was the most interesting to my daughter. The moment she saw Stretch she starting grabbing for him. She was about 3.5 months old then and at the time she likes to chew on his ears and legs now that she is almost 7 months she has started to play with rings on his neck.
I know the label says spot clean only but all of our Lamaze toys (inch worm, moose, firefly, and giraffe) have taken at least one trip to the washer and gone for a ride. I wash them separately on the gentle cycle with the spin cycle turned off. They always come out looking great and I use these toys at playgroups for this reason.

I bought this item to hang from the handle of the car seat. It is big enough for her to grab and play with. The colors on it are great and she enjoys chewing on the giraffe's necklaces (as they are hard and she is teething). The nose squeeks when you push on it. It is a cute toy for the money.

My son LOVED this toy from day 1. We have a couple other Lamaze toys that are similar and he loved them all. The colors are bright, there is lots to do, you can't go wrong with any of the Lamaze toys!
