My son just loves Jacques. It is his favorite toy. As a newborn he would spend a lot of time staring at the black and white backside of Jacques. My son is now 3 months old and spends hours each day batting and squealing at Jacques. It even calms him down when he is crying. Probably the best thing we have bought for our son.

For the price of this toy I am EXTREMELY disappointed! All the feathers are hard and don't bend and it is all just stiff and bunched up. It has too much going on on it too. My child does not care for it at all. But every kid is different, so maybe yours will!

I got this toy for my son's 3rd month birthday, and it was love at first sight! Jacques' big eyes are really engaging, and all the nice features (different textures, sounds)keep him interested. It really helped when we had a 10 hour road trip to visit family at Christmas ;) My son is now almost six months, but still plays a lot with it, and has not gotten bored wwith it at all. He just really loves it and I love it too.
the only con I can think of, is how to clean Jacques (my son puts everything in his mouth), you can't put him in teh wash machine.

My girls are 7 months and have loved this toy from day 1. I bring it everywhere because it always helps soothe them if they start crying. It has great textures for them to hold and it doubles as a teething ring for them to chew on. We have a few Lamaze products and the girls love them all!

Jacques the Peacock is our daughter's very favorite toy. He is the only thing that would calm her down in her car seat. Great colors and fun for her to look at!

Jacques goes everywhere with us and sits in her play gym while we're at home. We were worried that she wouldn't like him because of the face she made whenever we would shake him (she was about two weeks when we first got him). She loves him though. He's our go-to toy. She actually sits in her play gym and 'talks' to him. It's so cute. He's entertaining enough. Tons of colors, fabrics, and several different 'noise makers'. Probably the most interesting toy we've purchased so far.

Christmas gift for granddaughter. Older sibling aslo likes it and enjoys showing it to the baby

4 1/2 mo old gets super excited when he sees this toy. I give it to him in the morning to get a few extra minutes of shut eye- works most the time.

Our son loves all the lamaze products. We have this one, the moose and the firefly. We clip them on the end of our stroller and he just loves to kick away at them!

My twins had this peacock and the lamaze elephant also. One of them lived with the peacock and the other loved the elephant! IT was perfect and a go-to anytime they were upset. We traveled with them everywhere. They held up sooo well! I'm saving them for our next child. Love the peacock and how one side is colorful and the other is black/red/white.
