A cradle mattress is supposed to be thin

Comments about Million Dollar Baby DaVinci Cradle Pad:

In response to another review, a cradle mattress is supposed to be thin and hard in order to prevent SIDs. Soft, cushy mattresses can increase the risk for Sudden Infant Death syndrome. Please don't go looking for a soft mattress. The firmer the better!

      It is very thin and seems uncomfortable. Instead of this pad we are using the Simmons cradle pad which is much thicker and better quality, not to mention much less costly.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
