as a newborn, I think the baby did not like the curvature then it was super useful to prevent baby from rolling over.When baby became bigger ad stronger, baby was sitting and playing and refusing to lie on their back.
always covered the waterproof material with a cloth cover or towel as it is not nice on the skin.
never used the strap, it does not make sense. the strap won't keep the baby from rolling and the baby should NEVER be left on a changing table.
The strap may give the wrong idea to someone who does not know better.

My main concerns before purchasing this were: will it be too large for the changer, and where can I find covers to accommodate it's non standard size? First, it fit the davinci Emily dresser/changer combo perfectly! I couldn't imagine having to use a smaller one because this one works so well! It's super thick, contoured, and sturdy...complete with a strap, and will be large enough for the baby as long as she's still in diapers. As for the cover issue, I found that any of the babies r us brand covers fit like a glove! I bought a plush pink BRU one that claimed to fit pads upto 16x32", even though this pad is 16x34" (and contoured), and after washing in cold water/drying on low, its an amazing fit! It's stretchy so it covers well, and the elastic sides hold it in place. However, I'm sure there are many covers that would fit as long as they stretch, just don't be deterred from buying this pad though because you think it will be hard to find covers. I'm super happy I bought this! It's also covered in a protective material so there's no need for extra pads. Also, if you don't want to spend a lot on a cover, the Carters knit bassinet sheets work too (they just refuse to contour with the pad) so if aesthetics doesn't bother you, it's a great way to save a bit. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend this!

It is a great pad, we use it, it is contoured so baby does not slip off. It has straps to tie her in and pin to the dresser. We use it on our dresser and it fit well. We use a washable pad on top so we never have had to clean the pad yet.

This changing pad fits perfectly on the DaVinci Emily Changing Table. I needed an extra long changing pad for the table and this was the only one that I could find. It seems to be well made and I like that the pad is concave so that the baby won't roll around as easily.

I have an [...] changing table with large dimensions, and most changing pads were too small to fit the table properly. The DaVinci changing pad was exactly the right size. It doesn't come with a cover, so you need to search for a cover that will fit.

I ordered this changing pad because it is longer than most. I had a hard time finding one that was long enough and this one fits perfectly onto my Da Vinci changer. I haven't had the chance to use it yet since I'm not due for a few more weeks, but I can't wait. This product is great quality and worth the money!
