The mattress is a good mixture of not too hard but not too soft. My newborn loves it compared to the recommended hard mattresses that she hates to sleep on. It is the only way she will sleep for 3 hours straight without being held. It is a little difficult to change the sheets but I don't know if thats because of the mattress or the crib itself.

I was originally wanting the DaVinci Crib, and picked this mattress based on other reviews. I ended up receiving the Summer Manchester Crib in Dark Cherry. I was very nervous buying this mattress, as I was afraid it wouldn't fit in the crib correctly. I crossed my fingers, purchased the mattress, and I am happy I did!!! The mattress is a very snug fit, and, with the bumpers, I feel that my baby will be safe and secure in his crib. I am due any day now, so I will have to wait to see what Baby thinks, but Momma is one happy camper!

I bought this mattress for the Davinci Emily crib. I read several reviews online that said it was a perfect fit for the crib. Since it is made by the same manufacturer and the dimensions matched, I didn't think I would have any problems. There's TONS of room between the crib and mattress. It wiggles around with 2 inches of room on the side. It doesn't seem like it would be very comfortable either. I am definitely exchanging this for a mattress that fits safely and is better quality.

My daughter is 5 months old and has been sleeping on this mattress for just about 2 months now. She gets a full night of sleep on it and never seems uncomfortable (usually only takes her about 10 minutes to fall asleep at night). I think the firmness is just right and it doesn't make any loud crinkling noise when she moves around on it, like some reviews have said. It was the perfect size for our crib (which is not a DiVinci crib). I gave the product 4 stars because we have only been using it for 2 months, I'd like to see how it holds up a year or so from now. No complaints so far!

Used this with my daughter for just over 2 years and the middle of it has completely sunken in to the point that she tries to sleep on the edge of the mattress to avoid the pit in the middle. The good news is it has a 5 year warranty so after jumping through quite a few hoops with MDB I should be getting a replacement soon.

I ordered a crib and mattress that was on the registry list. After I noticed the crib was being delivered to the correct address on file, the mattress to my home. Both were on the same order number. I noticed the error the next day and contacted Federal Express as I previously received a shipping notification. Fedex said only the shipped can change the address. I called BabiesRus and the customer service representative told me I was wrong, both were going to the correct address. I had the physical order printed and stated that I am reading the order and it clearly states two different ship to addresses. I was told it was impossible and both were going to the correct address. Two days later the mattress arrived at my home - the incorrect address. I had to go to Fedex and ship it correctly, incurring additional money.
