Don't know what people are complaining for about the baby's head moving forward, I don't expect it to prevent that. But got this as a gift and I like it more than this summer infant, I think, which didn'tr do the job but this did and i no longer had to use my hand as my baby's headrest! I'm expecting number 2 and will deffinitely use it again. One lil thing I don't like is that it's velcro but that's just me, I prefer snappies over velcro because after using using velcro bibs... it don't last! It does the job and I can sit in the front seat without worry, although my daughter was probably 6 months by the time I was actually comfy to switch back as I can be paranoid at times.

I bought this for my 3 month old son who has torticollis and I use it mostly in his infant carrier/car seat. It works very well to keep his head straight. It appears as if it would be too tight for a little head to fit in, but it must be snug to work. He cried for a minute the first time I put it on but he got comortable almost instantly and doesn't fuss over it now and he actually looks cozy nestled in it. I read comments about the velcro being rough on the back of the neck. I don't have that problem because he's small so it's fastened at the smallest fit but I could see how it might be a bother if I made it bigger. I would probably just wrap a cloth over the rough part. The material is nice and soft and the monkey face is cute.

This is a terrible product. I bought this because the headrest that came with the carseat didn't work well and my son's head was always falling to the side. I put this in the car seat and by the time I got home from a short car ride it didn't stay in place! Also, my son is 6 weeks old and doesn't have a very big head and his head was squished in. I am returning this ASAP!!!

I had the same problem many moms who gave reviews had - baby cried when it was on because the bunny ears hugged her head too much and made her very hot (she is very hot-natured already). So, my husband had the great idea to not put the bunny ears directly around her head but to detach the ears and put each of the ears between the car seat's own head rest and outer edge of our Peg Perego car seat. So if you can imagine it - you have baby's head, then the car seat's own head rest (which is way too huge for an infant), then the bunny ears, then the car seat. This works almost perfectly though there are ocassions where I have seen her head slip forward slightly. So, if you are willing to be creative with the product, it can work fairly well.

I used this product for my newborn until he was about 10wks old with my graco carseat because his head would flop around without it. He was born at 9lbs 3oz. After the first 2wks he started screaming in his car seat. I thought he just hated his car seat or the straps were to tight. It has always been snug but then I thought to remove it and now he is fine in his seat. It just hugs his head too snug. I don't see how a baby would grow with this.

I bought this after several failures for a pillow in the car. This one works great, they attach or can be used separately, I don't hook them to her strap like it says because I typically put them under her head after she falls asleep. Everyone says that it doesn't keep their head from falling forward and it doesn't, but what would? It keeps it from falling to the side and there is nothing behind her neck to add to the falling forward problem so works the best of anything I have tried so far! LOVE IT!

I bought this bc the car seat we have for my newborn offers no head support what so ever and her head was slumping forward and to the side. We put receiving blankets by her head at first, but then I went to the store and found this. It keeps her head from going off to the side, but her head will still slump forward a little. It does offer some support, which is better then nothing I guess.

I bought this for my 8 month old when she grew out of the baby carrier carseat. Her head kept flopping to the side when she was in her bigger carseat. This head support is very bulky and looks so uncomfortable. It moves around each time you put the baby in and out of the seat, we used it for about a week and then got rid of it.

This is the second type of car headrest i've tried. My minivan has a built in child seat, but really the straps are no different from a regular car seat, and it BARELY fit onto the straps width. It did NOT keep my sons head from falling forward, and offered to side support while sleeping. Returning this and on to the next.

I use the head cradler in the infant carrier and to keep my baby's head from bouncing around during walks in the stroller. I found that while the material is very soft, it also gets warm and made my baby's face hot. I don't think my baby has a huge head, but I can't imagine being able to use this product as a toddler. They almost fit like earmuffs now.
