Comments about Chicco Capri Stroller - 70's:

This was one of the only umbrella strollers that I found that was baby friendly and will grow with my grandson. The harnesses are perfect for a 4 month old and up. I also like the light weight that is east to get in and out at the mall without the bulkiness of a stroller. Also was very, very reasonably priced. Love the retro, groovy colors to complete the look.

Comments about Chicco Capri Stroller - 70's:

THIS IS A GREAT STROLLER!!! MY WIFE AND I PURCHASED IT 2 YEARS AGO AND ITS STILL WORKING GREAT. GRANTED THE SUN HAS FADED AND THERE ARE SOME DARK STAINS THAT JUST REFUSE TO COME OUT BUT ITS SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE. VERRRRRY LIGHT WEIGHT. EASY TO FOLD, GREAT FOR THE ZOO, SEAWORLD, AIRPORTS OR JUST A CASUAL WALK. MY DAUGHTER FALLS ASLEEP AND NOW MY 7 MONTH OLD LOVES IT TOO. WE HAVE A DOUBLE AS WELL BUT THERE ARE TIME WHEN ITS TO BULKY SO THE 2 YEAR OLD WALKS AND THE 7MONTH OLD RELAXES.
NOW IT DOESN'T FULLY RECLINE JUST TWO ZIPPERS THAT MAKE IT MOVE BACK ABOUT 4" (ABOUT AS MUCH AS AN AIRPLANE SEAT) THE BASKET IS NOT HUGE BUT WORKS FOR US. STRAPS ARE EASILY ADJUSTABLE. AND THE CANOPY IS REMOVABLE. WHEELS ARE REAL RUBBER TO AND GOOD SIZE SO CURBS ARE EASY AND THE RIDE IS SMOOTH. I HAVE SEEN LOTS OF PEOPLE WITH BOTH STROLLERS I OWN.
THE ONLY CAUTION I WOULD POINT OUT IS THAT IF YOU LEAVE THE CANOPY ON AND FOLD IT THE WHEELS WILL RUB ON THE INSIDE AND LEAVE BLACK MARKS. NOT A BIG DEAL BUT A PAIN TO CLEAN OUT OF THE GREEN (OXY AND A SCUZ BRUSH WORK WELL.)
WE LOVE IT A LOT SO WE ARE GOING TO BUY THE BLACK ONE BY CHICCO NOW. I HOPE THIS HELPED AND YOU ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS I DO.
IF ANYONE SAYS ITS HARD TO FOLD THEY'RE AN IDIOT HONESTLY THIS DOESN'T GET ANY MORE BASIC AND EASY.
FYI MY KIDS ARE SMALL TOO MY SON IS IN THE 30TH PERCENTILE SO ABOUT THE SIZE OF A TWO MONTH OLD AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH BUCKLING HIM IN THEN SWITCHING IT FOR MY DAUGHTER WHOS 2 1/2.

Great stoller, few drawbacks
By Tawny from Denver, CO on 7/23/2009

Comments about Chicco Capri Stroller - 70's:

I bought this stroller to use when my niece came to visit. It is a wonderful stroller. There are a few drawbacks, there is no cup holder for a water bottle or a bottle for the baby. Also the "basket" on the bottom is very small. And yes, I do kick the wheels OFTEN! The handles are at an okay height (I am 5'9"). I would barely call this a reclining stroller. The reclining position is just an unzipped portion of fabric may add 2-3 inches to the recline. But the stoller is compact, light, with beautiful colors. The harness also seems very safe and my niece loved our walks in this stoller!

Comments about Chicco Capri Stroller - 70's:

I absolutely love this stroller. It is very light, easy to fold up, and most of all my daughter loves it. The 5 point harness is such a nice addition to this stroller that not many other umbrella strollers have. I was able to actually use this stroller before my daughter was very good at sitting up because of the harness. I would buy this stroller again in a heartbeat.

Comments about Chicco Capri Stroller - 70's:

Needed a lightweight stroller for vacation. Had a Combi stroller b4 but the wheels weren't sturdy.THIS STROLLER IS AWESOME. Lightweight, WIDE, great handles, big tuff wheels & good looking patterns. My daughter is 3yrs old & 37lbs. She has room to move, she can fall asleep comfortably cause it reclines back slightly & her feet don't drag. GREAT BUY!!

Cute, Lightweight, convienent

Best Uses:
Infants, Toddlers

Comments about Chicco Capri Stroller - 70's:

I have gotten lots of compliments with this stroller. It is very light weight, takes up little room in my small Toyota corolla. It is easy to use and manuvers well on the small and crowded Italian Stores and sidewalks.

Very Stylish. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is just like the other reviewrs said you might have to adjust your stride in order to not kick the back of the stroller. It really is pretty narrow but all in all nothing you can't get accustom too. What I find that helps with this problem is to hold the stroller far out with your arms extended. This helps although maybe I might look a bit silly.

Hopefully Chico can come up with an improved version of this stroller that addresses that problem.

I Bought it on sale with 15% off here on toys r us so I am happy with the purchase.

Comments about Chicco Capri Stroller - 70's:

It's a smooth ride, folds up nicely, my daughter likes it. I'm 5'10 and the handles are at a comfortable height, but I keep kicking the wheels. That's the only thing I really hate about it. I even tried it out in the store and didn't notice it until I was walking around in the mall. I really wanted a Mia Moda Facile, but they were on backorder and I needed a small compact stroller for vacation. I can adapt to it, it's just annoying. I really liked the Graco IPO too, but it was alot heavier than the Chicco. FYI for taller people: the handles on the IPO are several inches higher than the Chicco and the wheels are farther away from your natural stride, but it was $30 more.

Bought 2 for twins
By 1andtwins from Waynesboro, VA on 6/25/2009
Pros:
Easily Stowed, Lightweight, Stylish
Cons:
No Cup Holder, Small Basket
Best Uses:
Infants
Describe Yourself:
Medical Professional, Parent of Multiples (Twins etc), Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Chicco Capri Stroller - 70's:

I bought 2 of these strollers for my twins because carrying around a huge bulky stroller does not appeal to me. My girls like the ride, but I agree that I hit my feet on the wheels. I bought a connector to attach the strollers together and works fine. I love that you can lock the front wheels so I do not have a problem turning the stroller. I wish that I coule see my girls better while the canopy is open and there is no snack tray, which I am trying to find aftermarket. Overall I think this product is cute and works for us.

I really like the stroller
By GMvdW from Limerick PA on 6/15/2009

Comfortable, Easily Stowed, Easy To Maneuver, Easy to Set Up, Lightweight, Smooth Ride, Stylish
Cons:
No Cup Holder, Not Adjustable, Small Basket
Best Uses:
Infants, Toddlers
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Chicco Capri Stroller - 70's:

I still like the stroller even though I agree with all the bad reviews. I've learned not to kick the wheels (I'm 5'5 though hubby is 5'10 and he can't push Daughter for just that reason), I don't use the basket for anything other than the mail, when it's closed I don't lock it, I point the wheels forward so they don't get the sun canopy dirty. The sun canopy can be adjusted, you just have to unsnap it from the back of the seat And even though it's not too much of a problem for me, I do wish the handles where higher and/or adjustable.

Also, I've noticed that EVERYONE has this stroller. I went to my local YMCA and saw at least 8 other people with the same stroller.

On the plus side, we recently went camping with this stroller and it worked wonderfully! My Daughter loved all the bumps and "adventurous" ride :-)
