easy to use at school, uses batteries. effective pumping. if i knew about this pump with the last two, i wouldve breastfed longer. I wish I could find a cute storage bag for it though.

I have been using this pump daily for about a month, it has been wonderful especially for the price. I would have liked to get a double pump, but I stay at home so this works great, I love that it is small and fits in the diaper bag, if we go out and I need to pump I can do it in the car since it is battery powered also!

I used this pump with my first child and loved it. Now I am using it again 2 years later with my second child and it still works great!! I thought for sure it would not work as well after being boxed up and moved around a lot from moving, but it still works like new. This pump also has great suction and I feel like it gets a lot of milk out in a very timely manner ( just 5-7 mins. on each breast) so I can go longer periods between pumping. Highly recommend this product if you cannot afford the dual pump.

this pump is great and a life saver. I bought it to help releave some of the discomfort i was feeling, but now its all that i use. Granted, i can only pump one breast at a time, but thats fine by me. This is a good investment if you really need a pump but cannot afford the $200-300 medela models.

Had to pump a lot (at home, work, and in the back seat of my suv)! Wished I would've gotten a double-would've saved me a lot of time. But this little thing is a work horse! I pumped three times daily until we weaned at 6 months....Still has great suction!!! PS- gerber bottles fit pump :-)

I bought this pump for occasional use as I am a stay at home mom. However it broke within the first two months. It has been repaired twice and recently broke again... I am very disappointed int his product.

I Loved this pump. I tried about 13 different pumps between manual, battery operated, and electric pumps, with this being the 13th one. I used it regularly for the full 6 months that I breastfed my son. I never had any problems with its suction or it being painful.

When I was done with it, my sister used it with her own tubing for the few months that she could get her milk to come out. She only had a problem once with it backing up to the motor, but it didn't break or cause any permenant damage. It wouldn't have happened if she had cleaned every part the night before like she was suppose to.

After she was done with it, she sent it back to me and I loaned it to my friend who went out and got her own tubing as well so that she could try to breastfeed her 2nd daughter. She loved it so much and never had any problems out of it.

I used this pump when breastfeeding didn't work out, and was able to pump and feed my baby breastmilk exclusively for two months. After that, it still worked great as a supplementary tool . It's every bit as good as the hospital grade pump I used after giving birth, and I would highly recommend it.

I work with medela products. We do not carry the swing at the hospital. This is a great pump for only very occasional use. Meaning 1 time a week. If you use this pump more than that the motor will burn up. If you go to any medela web site it will tell you that this pump is meant for only occasional usage. Medela is a very good company. evryones milk supply, nipples, babies and everything are different. If you are a regular milk factory you may be able to use this pump fine. If you already have issues you do not nee to use the pump. As far as baby loosing weight they should lose no more than 10% of their birth weight. Then retun to the birth weight by 2 weeks of age. The best pump for returning to work is the pump in style advance and on medela's website it lets you know that.

I started out with an Evenflo, and as good as it was with efficiency (I could pump both sides in 15 minutes total) it would lose suction so I ended up returning it and getting the Swing. I heard how great Medela is, so I spent the extra money and boy am I disappointed!! I couldn't afford the higher quality ones and I figured that since this is Medela it would probably be good. What a waste of money....my manual pump is better and less hassle!! I dread the thought of pumping. It takes a very long time (25 minutes for 2 oz!!) and I'm SO sore afterwards!! My daughter had problems latching on and I was in a lot of pain, but it was nothing compared to how I feel after pumping. I still can't afford a new higher quality pump so I had to buy a used one (I have all new tubing from the hospital, they give that free but not a pump?!) and I have to put up with this pump until the better one arrives. I guess sometimes you really do just pay for a name.
