My daughter got this as a birthday gift. It would not work, she was very disappointed. I emailed crayola and they were very apologetic and sent me a coupon to purchase any crayola product up to $20.00. Worth sending an email so you can get something worth playing with.

It was horrible... the paint didn't mix with water. It didn't spray, only dripped. A waste of time, money and effort.

The Easter Bunny brought this for my 4-yr-old, and he was so excited to play with it. The poor kid was heartbroken when we couldn't get it to work.

I'm kicking myself for not reading the reviews. Learn from my mistake and DO NOT BUY this piece of junk.

My son received this for his fourth birthday. He was dying to play with it. So, got it out of the packaging and followed all the instructions, including diluting the paint, which, by the way, does not mix well AT ALL. Finally got the thing all set up, and the sprayer did not work worth anything. It was like the nozzle part was already broken, or just so poorly made that it never had a chance to work. The colored water (because the paint wouldn't mix with the water properly to get out the clumps) literally dribbled out of the bottom UNDERNEATH the nozzle. Then the motor just kept running, even though the trigger was not being pressed, and was not stuck in the "on" position. I had to unscrew the battery case and manually take out the batteries to get it to stop. All in all, this has got to be the worst product I've ever seen from Crayola. Nothing about it is worth a penny, much less [$]. And suffice to say, my son was very upset at not being able to play with his new toy because it was junk right out of the box.

The only good thing about this product is that it doesn't spray unless it's pointed down. It's horrible on so many levels. First, the paint, according to the instructions, must be diluted prior to use. The problem is that the paint does not mix well with water and stays clumped. Even using hot water and stirring for several minutes does not make all the paint dissolve.

Second, the motor, even with new batteries, is inadequate to pump paint from the bottles through the sprayer. The paint flows so slowly through the tubing that we could actually watch the clumps of paint trying to flow through.

Third, the paint comes out in tiny drops rather than a stream of paint.

I wish I had read the reviews first. I bought two sprayers and refill paint.
