Love these! I love the fact you can swaddle arms in or out which is great for when baby gets too big to swaddle. They also wash great but I would make sure the velcro is not exposed because it can pick the other clothes. They are a little pricey but in my opinion a must have.

Our daughter is 3 months old and she has used the newborn swaddle sleep sack every night since she was born. It became part of her bedtime routine. The only reason we stopped using it is because she got too big for it and we moved on to the regular sleep sack. She was around 12 1/2 pounds when she outgrew the newborn size, even then she probably still could have used it but she was getting a little too long for it.

I love this sleep sack. My daughter has been wearing this since she was bright home from the hospital and she's now almost 2 months old and stills fits into the newborn size easily. I feel at ease when she sleeps in this since it does not ride up to her face and it stays put. I would definitely reccommend it. I will be buying the bigger size soon.

My baby was born with hip dysplasia but before she was diagnosed with it we had been swaddling her at night. She was used to sleeping like that but in order to address her hip problems, she was put in a brace that holds her legs up like a frog and she could no longer be swaddled. The Halo sleep sacks are "hip friendly" and they fit over my baby's brace. Her arms can still be swaddled now. Not sure why anyone would give this item less than a five. It's great. Well made and soft.

This was a hand-me-down from a friend. I was concerned that my baby wasn't warm enough and decided to put it on him one night. He slept very soundly. He didn't like being swaddled and I was able wrap the velcro part loosely to keep his arms warmer and he was able to get them out. It also zips from the top down so the zipper handle isn't poking at his neck. I just bought the size small as he is outgrowing the newborn size.

I got this as a baby shower gift, and our little boy has used it every night! He sleeps great in it--he knows it's bedtime when we put his swaddle on. It's gone through the washing machine many times in the past 12 weeks and it's still nice and soft (make sure the velcro is fastened and turn inside out for best results). Now that our baby is 12 weeks old, he has outgrown it, but I'm going to look for a larger size.

My daughter loved to bust her arms out of swaddle blankets and would wake herself up. Once we started using the halo, our 5 week old started sleeping through the night. She stayed warm, swaddled and cozy all night. A lifesaver!

Swaddling is so important. It really does calm a newborn down even if he doesn't think he likes it at first. These swaddles are great and the velcro makes it so quick and easy especially in the middle of a sleepless night. We switched off between this and the square swaddle blankets from the hospital. These are a must have for any parents with a newborn. We were given several and used all of them. We also have bought some as gifts for friends. Halo's design is great because after your baby is past his swaddle phase, you can remove the wings and use it as a sleep sac. Just remember: when swaddling, arms should be straight down. :)

This is a must have for new parents! Our hospital gave us one as a home going gift, and I am so glad they did. It works great. Our 11 weeks old boy sleeps through the night when we swaddle him in HALO sleepsack.
