Comments about South Shore Furniture South Shore Changing Table - Pure White:

This changing table is very sturdy, no issues with door or drawers coming apart; in fact, drawers slide in and out very smoothly. A heavy unit that seems to be quite strong and offers a lot of storage space. I assembled it myself; quite a lengthy process, but if you follow the directions it's not too difficult. The only negative comment I have is regarding the height of it (39" tall). Being a short person, 5'2", it's hard to get "leverage" over a squirmy baby which can make for sore arms, elbows and wrists, and I have received a few flailing feet to the chest from my 6 month old. Overall, though, I think it's a good quality product.

Comments about South Shore Furniture South Shore Changing Table - Pure White:

Received this from my registry from another site and couldn't be happier. Item is very heavy AND solid. To be honest, it did take forever to put together (nearly 5 hours) but it's fantastic! If the units are "falling apart" like other reviews state, then someone didn't assemble correctly or tighten screws enough. [...] It is a lot longer than a changing pad, but offers a lot of storage space that will serve my daughter for many many years. Plus the 5 year warranty gives added piece of mind. So glad I registered for this! ...Oh and yes, you DO need a small square screw bit head.

Comments about South Shore Furniture South Shore Changing Table - Pure White:

We got this as a gift from our registry so I can't complain about the price but if I had to buy it myself I think I would be more comfortable if this was in the $130 range. The piece is definitely solid and has lots of storage but it was quite a project to assemble and required a special screwdriver. If you get this changing table, make sure you have all the pieces.[...]

I don't know why such negative reviews. I was hesitant to order this product...But did anyway. It did not take very long for my husband to put it together, its a very heavy (121 lbs) and a very solid changing table. Very satified! Just wish the pad would have come with it.

I've had this dresser for my daughter for about 9 months and it's been falling apart since the day I received it. The bottom of the drawers always fall out, and the back of the dresser isn't even wood or laminate, it's a piece of cardboard. Also the door on the front of the dresser fell off and wouldn't stay on no matter what I did to keep it on. Honestly I would save up another hundred dollars and spend the extra money on a nicer dresser.

This product worked nicely for a while until the door fell off and the entire center of the unit began to collapse. I called the company to ask for help on replacing it and they told me that would resend me directions to rebuild it. They told me it must have gone through severe trauma to warp like it did. The only thing to go on it was my daughter. She's 20 lbs at 15 mos. old. Please don't purchase this product.

A friend of mine got me this changing table for my daughter...and IT'S FALLING APART!!!! Two pieces on the side have fallen, along with a drawer's front...It's a disaster!!! I consider myself a very careful person, and pretty easy to please, but it's falling apart...I am deeply dissapointed...
