I bought this for my 3 year old cousin for Easter. He was so tickled with it. He immediately wanted it open and played with it for well over an hour. Was a huge hit. The monster are adorable.

We like this a lot. My 2 year old isn't as interested as I'd hoped she be (We got it for her for Christmas.), but my 3.5 year old son loves it! As a matter of fact, so does my 6 year old daughter. Plus, it's really durable! So much better than the cheap sets!

My almost 3 year old loves this!. We set it up in the hallway on rainy days and it keeps him entertained for at least an hour! He likes playing with the "monsters" by themselves too. overall a great product.

This grouping of plush monster bowling pins and Klonk, the monster bowling ball, are fun for kids and mom and dad can play along. If you have a little one who enjoys throwing things, why not make it something soft that won't hurt anyone or anything in the house! This is a perfect gift! In fact, I just spent quite a while searching for it locally to give to a 2 year old boy after seeing how much my daughter loves it!
The only negative I can say about this toy is that the ball does not always go straight because of its design, but that's kind of fun too.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
