This is the best construction toy ever. My son has every available construction toy from Knex to Zoobs but none top this. He has taken it apart and put it back together at least 4 times in three day period. He loves it. Beautiful wooden pieces and it is sturdy once together. He can't wait to get a different one.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My 4 year old son received this as a Christmas gift. I would not recommend it for anyone as the assembly took over an hour (I'm sure my husband could have done it sooner, but he was busy on his Guitar Hero). It's easier to buy a fire truck that is already assembled and has some extra features like lights and sounds

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
