I and my grandson just loved this. He would always stop and listen. I loved this so much I just bought the turtle one for my 2nd grandson. I couldn't find the duck. I never get tired of it. It is so entertaining.

A friends child had this toy and loved it. We got one for our daughter and she loved it as well. Bought another one to keep at Grandma's!

I send the Baby Einstein to my 6-week old nephew. The parents were pleased and when I saw the new baby at 8 weeks, he was able to listen to the music. Not yet able to play with the musical duck by himself yet, of course. I like to send a musical toy gifts and this is great for baby and parents.

I bought this toy for my daughter to take to daycare with her. She also plays with it in her carseat and at home on the weekends. She has fallen asleep in her carseat holding on to it. At daycare they say not only do my daughter love playing with it but the other kids love the music as well. When she plays with it at home it does keep her busy for a little while, she likes to push the buttons to hear the music play. It is very senitive to touch, but if you want to carry it in a diaper bag you can always turn the switch to off on the back near the battery case. My daughter has had this for a few months now and we never turn the switch off and I have not had to change the batteries yet.

My son can't get enough of this Duck. He plays it all the time and takes it everywhere. He has used it so much that some of the button's don't make music anymore (but he has had it for a long time).

When I have another child I'm going to get it again. I would definitely recommend this.

This is a great toy. I don't leave home without it! It instantly calms him when he is fussy, which is awesome. He loves the music and loves to chew on the duck

My son loves this toy and would never notice that the violin is missing from the melody that is played when the duck's belly is pushed. Someone else commented on this as well and has taken the time to explain better then I care to. Your child will love it just the same, but baby einstein goofed when they created this toy. Maybe they thought we wouldn't notice.

Part of the thinking behind this toy is to demonstrate the different parts of a band, and highlight the roles that different musical instruments play. Each limb plays the part of one particular instrument in a song - press one wing, for example, and you get the drum playing only the backbeat of the song. Then when you press the belly, it combines all the instruments into playing the song together, as an entire band. The silly thing is that one foot features a violin playing the melody, but then the violin is not included in the entire band that plays when you press the belly! Makes no sense and becomes more confusing than useful.

My son got this at 3 months and its still hanging in there now that he's 18 months. The clip on the back of him kept falling off so we replaced it with a link-a-doo. Other than that, he loved to push the music button repeatedly once he figured it out. This one has more buttons than the lion and the other einstein animal. My son still likes to carry it around when he digs it out of his toybox every now and then, listening to the music play.
