I really enjoy using this stroller. I really like how light it is because of the carbon fiber. I also like how easy the leather is to clean! That is probably my favorite thing about it. It is a smooth riding stroller. It reclines which is nice when my son falls asleep. The only thing it doesn't is have a cup holder, but I use the large pocket in the back to hold my drinks and it works fine. Small and streamlined.

I LOVE THIS STROLLER! I question if any of these people writing the negative reviews can even afford this stroller. I purchased this stroller for my 2 year old son. I have another little boy on the way and I plan on ordering another one! Sturdy, BREATHABLE, and buttery soft leather. The only thing missing is a cup holder. Otherwise, charming stroller!

I am not sure where all the bad reviews came from, but they seem to all be written in the same tone... possibly a campaign against this stroller??? Anyway, I have NO problem with this stroller. It is comfortable to push and the leather is breathable and doesn't bother my daughter. Since we live in New Orleans, I bought a cloth liner just in case, but have not had to use it yet. This stroller serves its purpose VERY well, which is to be a quick umbrella stroller for quick trips, like to the mall or running errands. We have an Orbit that we use for long trips, like to the zoo, that of course is much better suited than an umbrella stroller. My only complaint is that the retail price is too high for this stroller, regardless of the carbon fiber and leather. I got the stroller for a discounted price and likely would not have paid the full retail. Overall though, I like this stroller and would recommend it.

I find this to be a fabulous stroller. The leather is very breathable (Highly doubt half these people who left a review even have this stroller..they seem to be here to brag about their Doctor husbands and fancy cars which I highly doubt they have) anyways, back to the stroller- I really do enjoy this stroller and so does my daughter. We live in a hot climate and she does not sweat from the stroller. If your child does sweat you can always buy seat liners. The only thing NOT so great is my hands get sweaty on the leather handles which are not breathable.

Horrible! It was given to us by "my husband's friend" as a shower gift. My husband is a doctor and even he thought it was a little much. Our daughter would either be too hot or too cold in the stroller. Last winter the leather was ice cold. At least I have heated seats in my Lexus, but as for the stroller it obviously does not! During this summer, I had to lay a towel over the seat because the leather was too darn hot! I exchanged this stroller for the Maclaren Grand Tour LX, and I'm so glad I did. "My husband's friend" has no children and no clue. It is the thought that counts... but never again!

I received this stroller as a gift last year... from my husband. Aha! I love my husband so I gave it a try (i was laughing inside because its silly to buy a leather stroller) So I used it a few times. My son was ALWAYS over heating in this dumb thing. I have 2 other Maclarens, the Quest and when ever my son is in it he is fine. My husband felt bad... he wanted to drop it off at a local Thrift shop but I was totally against it. I threw it away! I don't want someone to buy it and make the same mistake my husband did. My husband is a Doctor so the money wasn't the issue, my issue is someone who doesn't have much, spending their last few dollars on this silly thing! By the way do NOT leave it in the truck of your car, outside in the winter.... the leather gets ice cold. Ehhh!

I love this stroller! I have a huge collection of high-end strollers, at least 30, including several other Macs, Bugaboo, Stokke Xplory,(another favorite) Bertini, Mountain Buggy, several each of Inglesina and Peg Perego, Teutonia, Zooper, and others that I rotate out as events warrant, but this is the main one that lives in the van. It is light and easy to set up, as all Macs are, and I have found the leather quite easy to clean. I use Armor All leather cleaner/conditioner, but it can be washed. I haven't tried yet, because everything has just simply wiped off, including candy apple, sunscreen, and chocolate!
As far as the hot and cold issues go, I haven't found it to be a problem. A baby will get sweaty in virtually ANY stroller, even a Mac Volo (mesh seat)in hot weather, which we have in abundance here in the deep south. When its cold I usually use a boot or bunting, for any of my rides, but when I haven't, the leather seems to warm up quickly. (how much bare skin is exposed in the winter anyway?)
The seat is ample and tall, with plenty of headroom for tall toddlers, and has a great, smooth, almost full recline that is suitable for newborns.
All Macs maneuver effortlessly unless you go "offroad" onto grass or gravel, this one is no different. It turns on a dime, with a small "footprint" so you can use it even in crowded spaces and tightly packed stores.
The handles are very comfortable, angled and positioned well, especially for taller parents. I love the leather grips on the handles, very comfy and not as sweaty as the foam ones. The wheels are set so that they are not as "kickable" as some other strollers. The hood has pockets on the back of the hood for a cell phone, keys, etc., a nice "viewing" window to keep an eye on your passenger, and is quite large for an umbrella stroller. The frame is covered in a carbon fiber skin that is really tough and abrasion resistant, mine is hardly scratched from all the sliding in and out of the van.
The only downside, other than not being available as a double, is the storage basket, just like all Maclarens. A Maclaren basket will hold a medium-ish diaper bag, a blanket, and a few small toys but don't expect a Graco style/Globemaster troop transport cargo hold and you'll be fine. (new parents way overpack! If your baby goes through 8 diapers and 3 clothing changes you need to take him home now!)
I really enjoy using this stroller, and my younger, stroller age children do, too. If I give my 15 mo. old son a choice, this one is the one he almost always picks. I just wish the other reviewers here had given it a chance, instead of returning it! I'd be willing to bet they would have fallen in love with it too.

This is so dumb seriously why would some one keep a stroller that makes your baby sweat gosh i also read some comments and seriously WHAT A MOTHER hahah so you like it because It's so soft and beautiful OH & u just wish it came in purple to match your husband's best suit. WOW idk what to say. Anyways i also got this as a gift i returned it immediately i didn't even use it once my poor baby was gonna sweat and no way was i gonna let that happen to her, i mean all baby's sweat but of course im not gonna keep a stroller were my baby is gonna be 4 a long time and sweat NO NO NO any parent who uses this stroller has issues sorry but its BAD =( poor baby's.
