I bought this product to have a safe environment for my grandson and when I unpacked the product it was missing a small plastic piece where the tightening screws were inserted. I called the manufactured, as the box instructions indicated and they said it would be 7 to 10 days before i got this piece they and they hoped it was what i needed. Really , i am trying to be a consciencious consumer and buy In Canada...why should I go through the manufacturer.. why spend 20 minutes on the phone, Why not take it back and get another one. Company should improve their customer service if they want repeat buyers.

I was disappointed to find that one of my gates isn't level. The door won't close! I did "install" it to see if the tension would close the 3" gap, but it definitely did not and it was wobbly. Even if the door would close, I don't think there is much stability in the side tension pads. I currently have a really cheap tension gate without a walk through and it's more sturdy and reliable than this one would be, if it worked. RETURN!

I use the gate to prevent my puppy from escaping his designated room. The gate was easy to install, is a tension gate so no holes in the walls, great for renters like us. Our Mini Daschund was able to sneak through the bars but we used the extensions (purchased separately) to prevent that from happening again and all is well now. The gate is a little tricky to open, you have to push the button forward while lifting the gate up in order to swing it open. It swings open both ways by the way. Good purchase.

This product is worth the money. The dark color helps with having a baby around. The white would get to dirty to quick. Set up was extremely easy and the gate is easy to use when you only have one hand.

Gates are durable and pretty easy to install. Sticky pads that came with the gate when removed took off the paint and drywall.
For the price the gates have worked good

We installed the gate at the top of our stairs and it works great. Easy to install, easy on the eyes and easy to use.

After reading the reviews we pick these gates and the product is great. We have the gates on top of the stairs and they are hardware mounted and work just perfect. No realignments needed so far and our 9 month old daughter has been banging at them for about 3 weeks now. :)

The gate was easy to install! We had to use both extensions, but they were so easy to put together. It is very secure, after install, I threw my weight against it and it didn't budge. I also love the self close function, since i'm either carrying a toddler, or laundry up the stairs with me. Would highly recommend.

It is a beautiful and sturdy gate. I love the double lock. It is easy to handle and get through. I have had many compliments on the look.
