Best gate out there. I bought a Summer gate the same concept as this one and it is horrible. It is not safe for children it opens easily with my baby can open it and is falling through it. I bought the Dreambaby and its the most sturdy and durable gate. I got one for down stairs. I liked it so much I got another one for upstairs.

I bought this baby gate to keep the kitchen separate from the rest of the house for my 8 month old daughter. We've been using it for about a month already and I really like it. It's very stylish, pretty easy to install, and also pretty easy to use. The automatic close feature is lovely... unless my baby is sleeping. Then I wish there was an easy way to keep it open. But, that's nothing a door weight can't fix. Also I've found that the opening sometimes isn't wide enough (for example carrying luggage to and from the garage for a trip) but with enough muscle it's not too high to lift it over or hold the big things in front of you. Overall I am very pleased and I'm looking forward to many more years of using it.

Great gate, very sturdy. The only problem we had is that the gate needs to sit flat on the floor, but on the spot we needed to put it there was a strip of wood between the molding and the floor that would have caused the gate to sit about an inch above the floor. We removed this and it was fine, but if it had been in a more prominent area of our home would have looked ugly. Just make sure the area where your wall meets the floor is completely flat for about 3 inches above the floor.

This gate works well and as described. It is easy to assemble even with an extension. Be sure to determine if you need a mounting kit to attach around round-shaped stairwell railings. Mine has one of the 4 points that is not flush so I need to buy a separate mounting kit.

This gate is very sturdy. We tried another brand and it was no where near as durable (it also costs more than this one!). The gate is very easy to put together. However, there is a manufacturing security for the door so it will require a strong man to finish up the last part of the installation.
We bought this gate to keep our puppy in the kitchen when we're away from home...it's great because she cannot climb on the gate to escape! One huge plus about this gate is that it can accommodate wide openings with the purchase of extensions - ours is 60in wide and we had no problems getting this gate to fit. It's the only pressure mounted gate we found that was wide enough as well as sturdy enough to meet our needs.
There's not one thing that we disliked about this gate. Highly recommend to anyone. A really a good deal for the quality.

This is the fifth gate I've tried and it is THE BEST. It fits our very wide opening, easy to put up myself in less than 15 min...no holes in the wall. It's easy enough for my 5 and 6 year olds to open (even my husband) but keeps our 16 month old safe. It's been hung on, pulled on, and climbed over and doesn't move! I wish I would have bought this one first!

We bought 2 of the gates for our larger than normal hallway opening and entry into our kitchen to help keep our 2 small dogs enclosed in just 2 rooms of the house. We've been researching many brands and styles and finally decided on this one, and we are very please with our choice. The trick is to get the tension tight enough for gate to latch in both places available. Thanks for providing a great option!
