I love this stroller for long walks in the park, and neighborhood. The adjustable handle makes life for my 6'1" husband, my 5'4" father (who watches my son primarily) and myself 5'5", very convinient. It's a smooth and incredibly comfortable stroller to push and Aiden loves it. The basket has held my diaper bag, purse (not small at all) plus a couple shopping bags with stuff, effortlessly. We used this stroller so much that we wore it out! We took advantage of the trade in offer TRU has right now. You get 25% off of a new stroller when you bring in an old one. I purchased the exact same one. Now that my son is 2, we can still use it for him and hopefully for an infant in the future all over again! Closing it takes practice, but you can do it with one hand (and foot) while holding a screaming kid in the other arm-I've done it...not pleasant but it was do-able.

I bought this wanting something in between my full size Graco and a lightweight stroller. However, after taking it home and trying it with my 20mth old son. The straps to secure him are uneven. One side is shorter than other. There is NO way to fix this. My other friend noticed the same on her newly purchased one. Another thing is, that I found that my son was not comfortable at all in actual seat. The side pads are very hard/stiff and he was already to broad for him. Also noticed he had hard time sitting up forward. The seat at its fullest upright position is too far back.
Overall, It's a nice stoller, and would've been perfect, but these major flaws in my view, were a deal breaker. Too expensive for this to have wrong with stoller.

Comments about Chicco Cortina Stroller - Extreme:

We got this stroller to go with our Chicco car seat (which had very high safety ratings), but after assembling it and seeing how it works, my husband and I are not impressed. Parts of the lining need to be unsnapped from the frame for the stroller to fold up and the seat back and leg rest need to be returned to the normal upright seating positions. This seems like a pain to have to re-snap the lining, recline the seat back, and refold the leg rest every time we want to put the car seat in it. Also the snaps on the frame are molded plastic, not metal so I assume they will wear out quickly with a lot of use. I can not comment on how useful it will be with an older child, but I expected this stroller to be of higher quality and easier to use for the money. I can honestly say that if we didn't have the car seat that snaps right in, we would have returned this stroller for a different brand.

Comments about Chicco Cortina Stroller - Extreme:

I bought this item for my 6 year old handicapped daughter who is about 30lb. I am always looking for the best stroller for her that will keep her comfortable. This one is bulkier than other strollers I have purchased but my daughter loves it. I love the fact that it can fully recline for her. the under carriage has A LOT of space too. I am currently pregnant with baby #2 and bought the matching travel system in Zest. The only thing I don't like about the stroller is that it takes a little practice to close it with ease. I suggest practicing this in your home unlike I did...while trying to do so I have scratched a few areas. But other than that I love it!

Comments about Chicco Cortina Stroller - Extreme:

The main reason I bought this stroller was because it matched my carseat which I loved and it had an attractive look. At quick view in the store it seemed pretty good and wheeled very smoothly, however at this point after using it for a year I am not very happy with it. It is definitely heavy which I wouldn't mind so much if it were sturdy. With just a diaper bag on it if you lean on it slightly it will tip. The canopy does adjust but then let's sun and rain in the top, it is way too small. Perhaps most annoying is the fact that the seat is never fully upright, which really frustrates my 13 month old. The harness is not very secure, no matter how I tighten it my son can wriggle his arms out of it. Also, the straps around his waist are so tight I don't think I'll even be able to fit him in it much longer. Overall it is not horrible, the child tray is great, it opens and closes easily, the parent tray is nice and the stroller wheels and folds easily, but I am on the hunt for something better.

Comments about Chicco Cortina Stroller - Extreme:

I love this stroller. Granted, it takes up a bit of space when its folded so keep your trunk in mind and its not the lightest of the bunch but the core featuers are there, parent tray, removable kid tray, decent shade, multi recline with a lever, not that drawstring nonsense which I am NOT a fan of, good size basket, excellent maneauverability, even with one hand. I've had my share of strollers and other then the Graco Quattro which I had for my daughter some 8 years ago, this is the stroller for me. Go for it, get this stroller. You will not be disappointed. Your child will be safe and secure. What more can we ask for.

Its super bulky and not a good idea if you live in the city. The wheels get stuck and seem flimsy. I don't think it will last. I definitely have a bad case of stroller envy. I don't know what I was thinking when I chose this stroller!

I love this stroller! It is a bit bulky to transfer in and out of the car but it is SO easy to maneuver (I can do it with one hand while I have the dog leash in my other). I love how the seat adjusts to just about nearly flat. I wish there were more accessories for it, for example a sun shade. We live in Florida and sometimes even with the adjustable canopy, it isn't enough to completely shield my son.

Comments about Chicco Cortina Stroller - Extreme:

I bought this stroller when my daughter was about 10 months old. She is now 2 and is too big for the stroller. I was so disappointed because I had hoped by spending a little more on a nicer stroller that said the weight limit was 50lb that she would be able to use it for quite awhile. My daughter is on the tall side but only weighs 36lbs. and the straps on this stroller are a nightmare! I have been so frustrated trying to get them to work throughout the last few months as she has grown and I've tried adjusting the straps. For this amount of money the straps should be easy to use and easy to adjust as the child grows. If you are looking for a stroller for a toddler, I would look elsewhere, Baby Jogger strollers have some strollers that have higher weight limits and the head and leg room is much better. Plus, the straps are much easier to use. Much pricer than Chicco, but I think it will be worth it since we do a lot of walking and I want my daughter to be comfortable.

I bought this stroller for my 2 year old son because our stroller got its use out of it. I was thinking well this should be good for him. Hes only 22 pounds and the weight limit says 50 pounds and he will have room to grow in and this will be perfect. Literally assembled this in the parking lot, drove to the mall tried to place him in it and the harness strap did not fit around is stomach. There is no way possible that this thing will much less fit a child that is 50 lbs if it wont even fit my son who is 22lbs. The strap was cutting into his stomach. Returned it within an hour of purchase. Terrible buy for an older child.
