My son got this toy when he was about 18 months, and he absolutely adores it. I am reasonably handy and put it together with very little trouble before I gave it to him. He loves lining up his many cars on top of the garage and sending them flying down the ramp to make a "crash." He plays with this toy more than any other one he has. The only thing that's a little hard for him to use is the elevator, as it doesn't move all that smoothly. However, I think it's taught him a good lesson in persistence, as he now knows how to use it well. Occasionally the pieces of the ramp come apart, but it's easy to snap back together. Love this toy!

The road that wines down will not stay together. I bought for my son when he was about 1 or so. He's now 3 and plays with it very little. There's not much to the thing. He loves matchbox cars so I'm looking at one of those garages. I definitely think this toy is overpriced.

This garage was very difficult and time consuming to put together. There is not enough on it to keep a child entertained for long. The bell on elevator does not work well. There is nothing special about this toy.

Not happy with it. Hard for me to assemble. Need screwdriver. Would recommend assembling before giving to child. Their patience runs out quickly. The roads don't align and cars can't go down smoothly. The people don't stay in the car because of the misalignment in road. It is setup strangley....why does the road go right on top of the gas pump, which doesnt even have a place for the nozzle. It just lays on the ground.... dumb. The elevator is jerky. It's trying to hard to be the old school FP Garage and is not making the grade. My daughter played with it for about 8 minutes before becoming so frustrated with it and walked away from it.

We loved the Little People toys my daughter had, so I was excited to get this garage for my son. I was very disappointed. There are very few features for imaginative play compared to our other LP toys. Also, the elevator is very difficult to move up and down. I have to use two hands to keep the whole garage from turning over, so there is no way my 1 yr old could do it. Look for a better toy than this.

Bought this toy for my son last year because the garage I really wanted for him was sold out . First day , he was excited to play w/ it (he was about 1 1/2 yo @ the time but was bored quickly bc the elevator is always getting stuck , the ramp keeps falling apart , can't get it to stay together , now, he"s 2 1/2yo & just uses it to park his lil cars on it . Not much to it.Getting rid of it .

When I bought this my son was too young to play with it I was considering putting it up in a garage sale and thank heavens I waited, this is the only toy he palys with now. As said in the other reviews you need to know what your child likes... mine is obsessed with cars. He loves it. The elevator is a little difficult but that is not the main part of the toy its the slide. I will definately keep this around or buy for another boy

I think most reviews really depend a lot on what your child is in to. my 2 yr old daughter loves this. I bought it 2 months ago and she plays w/ it every day. She loves cars. The elevator is hard to operate, but she doesn't care. She has matchbox cars- buses, fire engines, etc that she uses on the ramp also. We all have a great time playing with it together. I would say it's a good buy if your child likes cars.
