The product is as it seems in the description. My 3 1/2 yr old loves it. She has loaded it with doll clothes and pretends to do the laundry. The door fell off teh first day, but has stayed on since. It seems pretty durable as we have rough boys playing with it too...and it's still in 1 piece!

My daughter wanted a washing machine for Christmas. My mother in law bought this for her and she was soooo excited! When I opened the box, however, I was not. This is [$] worth of cardboard that you slide together with a plastic top that sits on it. Huh? It has a door and a knob on it, but does absolutely nothing. I guess I thought it would have a timer or spin or something, but no. My daughter sat in front of it waiting for it to wash! :( I am all about using your imagination, but I feel money could have been better spent on something much more fun. I could have made this with a cardboard box and markers like I did when I was a kid! Don't bother!!

The produt is not made well at all and is so much smaller than it appears. I bought the entire ste and the Rose Petal Cottage itself and was disappointed. If my 4 year old hadn't been so persistant with her request I would of returned it for a sturdier play house and accesories
