Got this when my son was 2. He enjoyed it but I was still very involved (helping getting car back up and pushing). He is now 3 1/2 and still loving it. Gets excited every time to play. Now he is starting the daredevil stage where he moves it to roll onto the sidewalk so that the car keeps going farther. Kids in neighborhood from 15 mos to 5 1/2 years play with and love it. Also learn about waiting their turn since so popular!! I would spend the $ on this in a heartbeat again and again. Color faded from sitting in sun, rain, snow but product as sturdy as when purchased (even w/ kids dragging it to where they want to ride).

What a great toy.Bought this as an upgrade to the smaller up and down roller coaster by step 2 as my 2 year old grandaughter loved it. [...] It was the hit of the birthday party for kids from 1 to 12. All the parents wanted to know where I got it. My grandaughter quickly learned to maneuver this herself the design is unique, she can walk the car back up by herself and set herself in the car safely. Would purchase this again and again. Well worth the price. She uses this almost everyday and all her little friends when over use it over and over again. Very durable as all Step 2 products are. Fairly easy assembly. This item is large and unless you have a very large indoor space is really only appropriate for outdoor use.

We were very excited to get this product. My husband had it assembled and ready to go in about a 1/2 hour. It was smaller than I expected (about 3 ft high, but my boys ages 4, 3 and 1 LOVE IT! The 4 yr old says it is "super-sonic fast". We recently had a party with kids ranging from 1 - 7 and they all had a blast. Another great Step 2 product!

This is the funnest toy ever! My children (age 3 and age 6) LOVE it! they can do theirselves and yes my six year old, over the recommended age limit, loves it as much as her 3 year old brother. I would definately recommend this..it takes 1 hour approximately to put it together and then let the FUN begin! Give it a try and you won't be disappointed!

This was one of the best Christmas presents of all times! Our three active girls (and now all their friends and neighborhood kids) absolutely LOVE this coaster! I thought they might be a little timid to try it at first, but the only warm up time they needed was the time it took to put in the first screw. The sheer delight on their faces is priceless! The whole thing is very stable, including the car which has a low center of gravity so it doesn't tip at all. We've got it on our back patio and we push out the track so it ends on the grass to slow down the car ... though it still goes about 15 feet (even with a very slight incline in the grass). Warning: it takes quite a bit of space, especially since you can't take the pieces apart like I thought you could. Once you put it together, it stays in one piece. But, that just adds to the stability of this product. I was put off by the price, but found it on clearance at our local Toys-R-Us so that just sealed the deal. I'm looking forward to having the kids enjoy it for years to come!

My two boys ages five and one got this as a Christmas Gift and LOVE it!!! Both of them. It can go very fast for the five year old but we can slow it down and monitor it for the one year old. What a great toy. It will for sure be the hit of the neighborhood.

I got this for my 3 year old [...]Needless to say it is his favorite toy, and now after 3 months, it is STILL is his favorite! I have never seen a reaction out of him like this.His smile and laugh are still the same as the first day he saw it!I wish it could be adjusted for more speed (ie. higher or steeper) but it is awesome! And it promotes interaction by having Dad push it faster.Sturdy, and no helmet is needed. I have yet to see anything that leads me to believe it would tip, or he could fall out (except when he rides it backwards!)

My son loved the older version and now loves the Extreme Coaster. Great product! Lots of fun for all the neighborhood kids. I like that it will have longevity (until my son weighs 75 pounds). My only complaint was that we could not find it in any of the local stores due to the newness of the product (and perhaps the fact that it arrives in three huge boxes!) Once assembled it is not easy to move like the small coaster.

Great toy. My 2 1/2 year old loves this toy. As does everyone else in the neighborhood. Only thing that could be added is maybe a seatbelt of some sort. Otherwise I give it 5 stars.
