      I purchased this step stool so my 20 month old could learn to wash her hand independantly. It is perfect for reaching the bathroom sink & she loves using it! The only complaint I have is I wish it had a saftey hinge on the storage compartment...it falls down very fast & my daughter has pinched her fingers. However...overall it is a great step stool!!!

      This is a very cute decorative step stool. The pieces of wood are very good quality, nice thick wood. Everything about the look of this product is great including the hidden storage area. However the way in which the product is put together leaves the pieces loose on some sides and the screws often fall out. Consider a few extra screws of your own and some wood glue. Its fine for your toddler to use but anymore weight than that of an older child would probably cause the sides to come loose. Be carefull when putting the pieces together.
