Description

The Fisher-Price® Stride to Ride Lion provides great play and developmental benefits for your baby. In walker mode, a large wheel base and large handle will assist your baby with his or her first steps. When your baby is ready, an easy conversion allows mom to put the lion's tail down and convert the walker to a ride-on. In ride-on mode, your baby has a large seat to sit on and ample room to put his or her hands behind the lion's soft tuft of hair around his ears. Music and lion sound effects encourage and reward your baby as they walk or ride around the house. When your baby presses the lion's nose, it rewards your child with light and a musical response.

Bought one for eldest grandchild when she was about 11 months, she had so much fun with it (and we enjoyed watching her figure it out)that when her cousin was about a year, bought him one too. Both enjoyed the music and found it easy to push and control. It is very stable and difficult to tip side ways.

We gave this as a gift for our 1 year old granddaughter. She loves it. It has only been a couple weeks, so we will have to add to the rating as some time passes, but it is sturdy and is enough entertainment without overdoing the learning in every toy....

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Go Baby Go: Stride to Ride Lion:

I bought this for my 9 month old to learn to walk. It lights up and plays music which encourages her to push it around. It's pretty light so it can tip over, however there's space under the seat to put something to weigh it down.
She got lots of walking practice and within 2 weeks, she was walking without any assistance. She hasn't had a chance to ride it, but I'm sure she will enjoy it. Great toy!

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Go Baby Go: Stride to Ride Lion:

My daughter was a bit delayed with walking. She could pull to stand and cruise on furniture, but couldn't walk. She really enjoyed the freedom walking around the house with "Lion". Literally a month later she can now walk without lion, but still loves him and pulls him where she wants him to go. I am so happy I bought this toy, it really motivated my daughter. Soon we are going to move unto the riding part.

Easy to assemble and is sturdy. Switched from walk to ride with ease. I liked that you could turn volume off and it has 2 volumes. My 11 month old niece had no problem walking or riding this toy safely.

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Go Baby Go: Stride to Ride Lion:

I bought this for my son to encourage walking when he was 10 mos. old. He would pull himself up to his knees and then crawl behind it and have an absolute ball. He had a little trouble keeping up with it once it got rolling on hardwood floors, but that was only a temporary issue. He also was completely fascinated with the nose and the cute music (this toy actually has a volume levels- what a concept!!!). He's been walking for months now, but he still loves his lion. He's not as interested in the music anymore and he's actually a little tall to use it as a ride-on toy (95% for height!), but he still loves pushing it all over the house. We call them his "Lion Laps" and he will trek all over the house for 15-20 minutes at a time! That's quite a long time to keep a 15 month old engaged in anything. Super pleased overall- great quality, reasonable price.

I bought this for my daughter when she was 9 mths old and trying to stand/walk. She loved it from the very first day. The music is fun and lively - it has an adjustment level too which is great! She did not have any problems with walking behind it (unlike other walkers that tip over easily). My daughter is now 18 mths old and still loves to play with this (as a ride-on toy now) every day. Great buy.

As soon as we get home this is the first toy that he goes for all the time. It has helped him walk and when he is walking with it he laughs and loves the music and how the nose lights up. I would buy it again.

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Go Baby Go: Stride to Ride Lion:

My 13 month old daughter loved pushing the lion's nose and hearing the music. She'd clap and dance to it. Problems: It sits kind of low and she's a little tall for her age (31 or so inches), so it could be really difficult for her to functionally ride it. Also, it's very lightweight, which is cool for carrying it, but not cool if your toddler is just learning how to walk like mine is - When she pushes it, she puts her weight into it and it rolls a little too fast; she can't keep up with it. She just got an airplane Mickey Mouse one that has lots of stuff on it, it's heavier, and she doesn't have this problem with the new one. Also, her new Mickey Mouse one has a higher handle, which is both great for her when both pushing and riding (serves as a back support), and great for you so you can push/pull her on it. It says it's for ages 9 months to 3 yrs, but if your child is nine months, they may really need that back support and if your child is 2 or three, the toy's seat and push handle may be too low on the stride/ride lion.)Great toy, but my daughter was recently given one a whole lot better, so I returned this to the store bought it from.
