This is a beautiful blanket and extremely soft; BUT it sheds so much after washing it. If it wasn't because of the shedding it would be the perfect blanket. It is perfect for the Nojo Jungle Babies Nursery theme. I would recommend it to a friend if they don't mind the shedding?? Maybe, I just got a defective blanket material?

We purchased this blanket to pick a paint color for our nursery. It is extremely soft! Our 6 week old daughter loves to be wrapped up in it, as it is very warm and snuggly! The edging is sort of a corduroy, but is still soft, too. The blanket washes well, and doesn't seem to shed fuzz.
I feel that the tiger applique in the corner is actually a little big. It's sort of stiff, so we have to factor it in when we wrap. Otherwise, it is fantastic!

This is much softer than I thought it would be. I wish the lion applique was much larger since it is only about the size of my hand in the corner. It has been very durable and is great for laying my son on instead of the carpet.

I ordered this blanket to match the rest of my jungle babies bedding but I wasn't sure what to expect after another reviewer said she thought the blanket would be "softer." I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I also have the very popular Koala Babies "extra luxe" blanket & I found this blanket to be just as soft. I can't comment much on the durability yet, as I've only washed it once & my baby is yet to arrive, but I'm very pleased with this purchase. I almost wish I had a bigger one for my own bed. :-)
