With 4 colorful clips for hanging artwork, this double-sided Imaginarium Deluxe Wooden Easel features a high-quality, A-frame construction and a versatile design with height adjustment so it can grow with your child. Brightly colored and generously sized, the easel offers a dry-erase board on one side, a chalkboard on the other, an easy-loading holder for easel board paper, and a paper cutter. For all those essential artist supplies, you'll find two extra large plastic trays that are ideal for holding chalk, crayons, markers, brushes, paint and other artist tools. hey, I will start by saying the kids did like to use it, but it broke a few months after getting it. The legs are wood and they cracked in haft and I had a little guy around age 4 and he would take the screw tops off because they are big and colorful. For the price, I do not believe it is worth it.

I really wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing this product. Gave it to my daughter this evening for her birthday. After drawing on it once, the dry erase board is stained. She's heartbroken and I'm very aggravated. Don't waste your money on this product!

This item was purchased for my three year old. It's a great idea, but extremely poor in quality and usability.

The quality is questionable as one of the legs snapped in two as I was putting it together... it couldn't be glued, so now it's taped (which looks horrible).

And, what others have said about the chalkboard is accurate. It is totally useless! I'm actually thinking about buying chalkboard paint to cover it... or even just buying another, WORKING, chalkboard. The idea and technique others have mentioned for "seasoning" the board are impossible as the chalk won't even write on the board, no matter which way it's tried.

I suspicion you'll regret this purchase once you get it home.

Even after covering the chalk board with chalk several times it doesn't work properly. Easel doesn't come with art supplies or paper so we bought the Imaginarium art supply kit - mainly for the paper rolls. Even more disapointed with the art supplies than the easel. Crayons are poor quality, dry erase markers are dried out so we don't know if there's a problem with the dry erase board, chalk board eraser cheap cheap cheap - won't last long.
Manufacturer needs to rethink this product. Include paper so something is useable right out of the box. Most families have crayons or something to draw with.

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter, she loves to mark things up. The versitility for my daughter to use chalk, marker, crayon, paint, pens, and pencils is great she loves it. I can see the wheels turning. The chalk board is useless to say the least when you first get it, but you have to prep it chalk it up with a chalk on it's side completely covering the board 5 to 10 times, it'll let you then right on the board, it gets better with more use. I've heard about problems with the dry erase board but luckly I have'nt had a problem. The assembley is easy, takes 30 minutes going step by step with the dirrections. My daughters happy to have it.

I think this product is terrible my kids were so excited to have a chalk board and it dosn't work chalk dosn't stick to it and I have tryed all differnt kinds. for the money we payed it's not worth it.

I'm glad I went on this sight and read about that everyone else is having problems with the dry erase board and chalk board. I as well as my daughter were very disappointed with this product. We use the easel mainly to paint on the rolled paper - but would not recommend this product. Save up and purchase something that actually works!

Junk, Junk, Junk. Holes for the boards did not line up. Had to re-drill my own to fit. Chalk does not show up on chalkboard. So far so good on the dry erase side, but try not to keep it on there too long. This won't last long, I can see it now! Better off leaving Junior to color up the walls......paint to cover them is CHEAPER!!!!
