          These nipples are very durable. I have cleaned these on high temp. in dishwasher for weeks and have had no problem with them falling apart or tearing.

          My 3 month had to be put on a specialized formula because of spitting up. It was much thicker that normal formula so my baby wasn't able to suck it through stage 1 or 2 nipples. I was hesitant to try stage 3 thinking it'd be too fast of a flow but it turned out to be perfect. I wouldn't recommend this product for a baby this young, unless they are taking a thick formula that won't flow through other stages easily.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            It took a few days for her to get used to these compared to the number two nipples. For the first few days she took in too much formula and would cough etc, now she has no problem and is SO MUCH less frustrated when she drinks.

              we switched to these at 6 months and our baby girl had no problem at all. We use the bottles for formula, juice and water. We NEVER put cereal with the formula as recomended by the AAP.
              These bottles are wonderful!
