I have had this mattress pad for over a year. I works great. My daughters mattress is larger, and the other brands seem to slip off the mattress, but not this one. It stays on the mattress so well. You also don't have to worry about drying it in the dryer. Follow the directions and it comes out perfect! My other mattress pad got a hole in it from washing, but not this one. IT IS PERFECT! So perfect that I am getting another one.

I'm not sure why this product has a lower rating, I love it! My son is now 15 months old and I have one of these I use in rotation with two other brands. I love when I put this pad on since it has a little bit extra padding to it. Its easy to wash, folds nicely, and easy to put on the mattress. My son doesn't have many leak issues but when he does, this pad has never let us down. I just added another one to my wish list for baby number two on his way! Not sure how some are stating its poorly made or rips? No problems here.

This is the second one we have purchased. The first was for our now 14 month old. It has held up well. I decided to buy another for our new arrival because I feel this is a quality productand have had no trouble with it. I wash it in cold water and dry it on low.

My baby hasn't had any diaper leaks at night yet, so I can't attest to the quality of waterproofing. Howver, my DD has been in the crib for about a month now and is very comfy on this pad. It's high quality and washes well. Maybe those people who had quality issues were drying it on too high of a heat setting? I've never had an issue and reccomend these.

I ordered this mattress cover about a month ago. I have a 9 month old who for the last couple of months has been insisting on drinking a lot of formula right before bedtime (6 - 10 oz a night). We switched to overnight diapers thinking that that would do the trick, but she's leaking through her diapers when she sleeps 11 or 12 hours a night. Originally I was using a mattess pad that covered the majority of the mattress. I was using it also to work with the pack-n-play. Learned pretty quickly that the pad wasn't holding all of the moisture. Then I went to a big box store and purchased a mattress cover that I figured would work (similar price). When I opened the package I was surprised to see that the liner backing was explosed on the underneath and then in my pre-wash the lining was cracked in various places. I read the reviewed on this mattress pad and decided to give it a try. I loved how the lining wasn't exposed at all, I could tell this product had quality immediately. But.. the big test was yesterday when I was changing my daughter's diaper in her crib. Before I could get a diaper underneath her, she urinated on the sheet. I actually let her finish before removing her, as I wanted to test the cover. I put one of those puppy pads under her and changed her clothes while she laid over the wet spot (so the spot sat there for about 5-7 minutes with baby's weight on it). After handing baby over to daddy so that I could change the sheets, I was tbrilled to see that this cover passed the test with flying colors! Absolutely NO leaking through! I'm planning to buy more and will probably order more for baby shower gifts too!

I have used this pad since my son went into his crib at 6 months old. He is now 22months old and any time his diaper leaks in the night this pad never allows any fluid to reach the crib mattress. The pad is soft and adds a little more cusion to the mattress. I wash this pad possibly once a week and it has never fallen apart or lost it's softness or elacticity. I am very happy with this product.

I purchased this mattress protector along with baby's new mattress to protect against any diaper accidents... The mattress is waterproof anyway but I like this pad because it provides an extra layer of comfort.

Got this for crib I was given. Will be babysitting my 6 month old granddaughter starting in November. Haven't used yet...so no comments but am sure it will be great.

My son is 2 and I only have one of these pads and is has been FABULOUS!! Easy to put on, so much that I wash it, dry it and put it right back on. I tried other brands but nothing compared to the quality of this product!
