I bought this food set for my daughter for her 2nd birthday. She LOVES it! The food is very well made, unlike a lot of the cheap play food that is made now. It is also very realistic looking, which was a big plus for me. The green basket that comes with it is also wonderful for storage... especially if you have a lot of pieces of play food! After a lot of looking around, this play food is by far the best out there.

I use these cubes everyday with my speech and language pupils in foundation through to Year 2. I change the words accordingly. I use the. For EAL children to initiate conversation. I also use them with a literacy intervention group to enable them to think about their sentence structure in their head before they write.

I am a school-based speech language pathologist. I use these cubes when I want to engage a new referral or want my students to practice their target skills in conversation. Great for articulation, answering wh questions, fluency, expanding on personal narratives - just to name a few target skills.

This was a gift for my granddaughter. She was getting a kitchen set from Santa and I wanted to add to the accessories that she was getting with that. She loved it! My son, her father, was very surprised at the quality and that it was not the old hard plastic. We have "eaten" many play sandwiches and had cups of "milk" with her. She is enjoying it very much.

My 15 month older toddler loves to take the food apart. And when he is old enough, it will be a great matching game.

Detail on the fruits and veggies is great, very real looking.

Con, the velcro stickers sometimes peel off when the produce is pulled apart.

I had the opportunity to play w/ these play foods at a relative's house. The texture is wonderful- sturdy, rubbery, not hard/cheap plastic that many toy foods are made of. They are pretty large too, not tiny toys. So I just bought a set for my 2 y.o. dtr and I cant wait to get her more in the series.

SEN children have enjoyed talking about their personal experiences, this is something they can relate to and can talk about more easily. It has been useful to promote discussion about things they know and feel before asking them about the thoughts and feeling of characters we were studying.
