This has always been a great toy. My niece had this about 10 years ago and we only got rid of it because we lost the coins. It is very duriable and the kids spend many hours playing with it. Just putting in the coins or playing store, ect., it's great fun for boys and girls.

I'm thrilled they brought this back. My kids had this and we are getting one for our grandson for Christmas. It is nice to have a toy that parents can spend quality time with their child while they learn and have fun. I'm so tired of all the kids toys having to "do" something, make a bunch of noise, need batteries, and not bring out the kids imagination. Way to go FP!

I had this toy as a child and loved it, so I bought it for my two year old. She wants to play with it frequently, but quickly gets frustrated. It is not as well made, the coins stick and the bell doesn't ring when the drawer opens.

I love this toy and so does my 2 1/2 year old. Its the classic design (I had one when I was little that looked just like it) It's sturdy and easy to use even for clumsy little 2 year old hands. The pieces are big enough not to get lost all over, and my toddler plays with this toy a lot. I'm very glad they brought back some classic old toys that don't require batteries or make a ton of noise!!!

my son got this as b-day present. i'd love to return it, but its too late. this toys does nothing, the money gets stuck and its not worth the price of [$]. I'd sell it for $5.00.

My son plays with this more than anything. My husband and I picked out one gift each and A big gift for his birthday and out of a projector and basketball hoop he loved my pick the best!

So glad Fisher-Price brought this item back!

This product helps little ones learn cause and effect, in that the coins 'disappear' only to be seen again. They learn sorting skills as well, as the coins will only fit into specific slots, which are color coded to aid in placement.
Small motor skills are being refined, too, by 'ringing' the cash register bell.

The early elementary aged ones love it too, as they can pretend to shop!

My son plays with it off and on through out the week. It doesn't keep him interested very long. A good thing about it, is he matches up the colors of the coins with the slots and knows how to get it out.

I used this toy in my prescool classroom and the children loved it and I loved it for its educational value. Now I bought it for my nephew and he loves it as much as my students did.

I had this same toy as a child. Glad to see they brought it back. So much better than those registers that have real calculators in them that need to be zeroed out all the time. Little kids can work this one well and it is fun to put the coins in the slots and see where they end up (drawer or the slide).
