NAMCO Games were what slow-adopters like me grew up with: Ms. Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Galaxians... Now my kids (especially 11-y-o son Max) are lovin' the goofy pixellated aliens as much as I did. Granted, the threat to digital lives and property is far less with these DS games than it would be with, say "Halo." But I can still see the appeal -- for the next generation!

So I am a classic video game kind of girl. I grew up with PacMan, DonkeyKong, and DigDug. I was excited at the thought of sharing my childhood experience with my children. But that is where the excitement stops for Namco Museum. The games my children are used to now are so different. Plus even the writing was off. It didn't even seem to align correctly. The game was okay when I played it but not as exciting as I remembered it being as a kid. I suggest buying Mario or Sonic for your kids. They will like it more.
