Description



Designed with safety and comfort in mind, this Maclaren® Kate Spade Carrier features a unique one-piece design that ensures your baby's weight is not borne by any opening secured with clips, buttons or fasteners that could fail. The ergonomic design ensures a comfortable fit, while the foam centered shoulder and back harness distributes weight evenly taking the strain off your back. Extra thick padding is provided for your baby's comfort, as well as a unique, removable pod for use with 8-12lb infants and a secondary restraint belt for added security. Also included are quick-release buckles for quick and easy on-off, a removable bottle holder, a non-tangle harness with reflective accents, and a shade blanket/bib for teething babies.

This carrier is too complicated to use. Too many straps and too difficult to put on. What a waste of money. I had a Bjorn when my son was a baby (5 years ago) and it was great. I purchased this one purely because of how it looked. Big mistake! I should have stuck with the Bjorn. It was much more user friendly.

I have to return this item. It is not easy to use. It has too many straps. The instruction booklet lacks proper information and has unhelpful pictures.
Don't fall for the good looks of this carrier as I did, you will be disappointed.

I have small shoulders, and the thing kept falling off me - no matter how tight I adjusted the straps. I use a "metro mama wrap" instead. MUCH better.

I was so disappointed by this product. I purposely bought this carrier instead of the Baby Bjorn since it was made by Maclaren and had Kate Spade design. But it is almost impossible to use, unless you have two people to help put it on (also hard when one of you needs to hold the baby as well). The purpose of this kind of carrier is to have your hands free but I could never use it unless my husband was around to help me with the multiple straps. We are contacting the company and we've already bought the original Baby Bjorn (so easy to use and less expensive).
