I bought this product because my mother in law loves to make homemade baby food for our daughter. The problem was that she made such big batches that we'd end up throwing most of it out, which defeats the purpose of saving money with homemade baby food. These ice trays were the solution to our problem. They work just as you expect them to. I just pour the baby food in each mold and pop the tray in the freezer. The frozen cubes are easy to remove individually so I can take as many or as little as I need per feeding. I love the simplicity of it. It's easy to use and easy to clean but best of all, it has saved us from wasting "grandma's" homemade baby food. Overall, a great product.

This is a great product so far. I've only used it for breast milk as my little one isn't eatting solids yet. The lid works great the tray is very sturdy. As long as u r careful putting it in the freezer it doesn't spill. It's a little tricky to pop out the breast milk, u do it like an ice tray but if u hold it on its side or run hot water on the bottom it's a bit easier to get the milk out. It's a great alternative to using a million plastic bags. And I have found that the squares r just about an ounce if u fill it completely.

I only bought the two that comes with one purchase, but it is all I've needed. After my purées have freezed, I pop them out (easily done) and put them in freezer bags. They work perfect for what I need and highly recommend them.

I thought that regular ice cube trays would do the trick for food storage, but I ended making a bit mess trying to keep them covered and balanced while waiting for the food to freeze. The covers on these trays seal nice and tight, for no mess and easy portioning of homemade baby food. No jars or pouches necessary!

This tray is great for baby food storage. So far, I've made purees (such as peas, pears, apples, and peaches) and have stored them in the trays. I wait until they freeze solidly (about a day or two) and then move the cubes to plastic bags for quick usage. My only complaint is that the cubes are a little small in size- my son usually eats 2-3 cubes in order to get a full serving. Otherwise, a great product! No leaks and very easy to pop the cubes out of the tray!

I'm making baby food with the fresh, summer ingredients and freezing it until my little one is ready. Finding convenient trays with lids has been a challenge but they have been great so far. Would definitely recommend.

I got my storage trays with the baby food kit and I liked them so much I bought more so that I have a total of 4 of them. They make it super easy to make 1 oz portions of food for your baby. The individual cubes are the perfect size for beginner eaters (just needing a small amount), or for making mixtures later (I can grab 1oz of sweet potato, 1 oz of apple sauce, etc). The lids fit tightly, keeping air out. The instructions say to freeze for 8 hours of overnight, then transfer to another storage method for long-term storage (I use freezer bags). Since they are not meant for long-term storage, you may notice some ice crystals on the inside of the green lid if you accidentally forget and leave them in there for a few days. (Not that moms ever forget anything!) But there's no harm to the food in my experience.

If you're like me, you're thinking, "I'll just get some $1 ice cube trays from the grocery and use those instead." Tried that. I covered them in both plastic wrap and foil and I could not get as good of a seal as the green lids, even with rubber bands holding it in place. Plus then I couldn't stack them very well (I like to make many trays worth at once and I don't have a lot of freezer space). Not to mention all the wasted plastic wrap and foil! That really cut my savings down with all that waste.

I do want to add that I made carrots in them and they left a bit of an orange tint in the tray. I've seen no long-term problems with that and I've just decided to make that one my carrot and sweet potato tray. But I wouldn't hesitate to use it for any other foods.

Overall, I love this product, I'm so glad I have 4 of them, and I'm planning to get some for my sister to try with her new baby this summer!

These trays are great for storing your own baby food and clean up well. I like them because they have lids so you can make a ton of food and stack them in the freezer and they don't take up much space.

This is great because you don't have to use plastic wrap over ice cube trays. Some have said its hard to remove the cubes, but I've found it easy as long as you don't fill the cubes too full. They aren't 1 oz. cubes, but it still serves the purpose. I prefer to use it for food rather than milk since i freeze more milk and the cubes take up so much room. The freezer milk bags are better suited for that.
