Each plush piece is crafted using only the finest of materials and identifiable by the star icon and embroidered Shining Stars logo on its paw pad. You can choose from a galaxy of Shining Stars friends - the premier collection includes 24 adorable collectible plush characters including Honey Bear, Beagle, Penguin and Dragon, among others. So, once you have chosen your Shining Star, or given it to your own shining star for a birthday, great report card, or just to say I love you, simply log onto the Shining Stars website (www.shiningstars.com) and use the secret code found inside the sealed hangtag that comes with each Shining Stars friend. This product was wonderful and allowed me to not only be able to keep a new friend, but also name a star. This then opened up a whole new world to me which was full of science and knowledge that I hadn't even known was available. This product is good as a gift for yourself as well as some one else.

This is the cutest dragon ever! It has been out of stock everywhere and hard to find. I finally tracked one down, and he is so adorable! He goes perfect with our sons knight/dragon nursery, which is also done in the color blue.

My 5 year old also enjoys the shining stars line, and thinks it is awesome to name her own star.

And this product came out before webkinz.

[...] you may want to take note that Shinning Stars were on the market long before Webkins... Each have their own entertainment value. My daughter doesn't prefer one over the other, she enjoys both. The dragon is just the about the cuttest Shinng Star I have seen! The horns, nostrils and wings make it an original, combined with the many fabrics that make up the dragon. Everyone, is entitled to their opinion, at least have your information right.

I love this dragon..it is so adorable!! I am a big fan of dragons and the first time i saw it i had to buy it. I love the color blue and the sparkly purple for the horns and wings! A few pieces of fur came off when i was showing it to friends but its no biggie i have it on my desk at work. I am sure my son would love it to. I will have to get him one.

This is seriously cute. I love the color and the sparkle, especially on the horns and wings. The star on the foot is a nice addition to fit with the star theme...PLUS, you can name a star after your kid (granted, you can do that without the dragon, but hey...) The whole Webkinz argument is moot. There are tons of sites out there that let you act like something is a virtual pet. Besides, Webkinz doesn't have a dragon (only a pink Pegasus and white Unicorn which has been retired). As with any plush made from this chenille-like material, fur has a way of coming off at first. My son loves this thing, and I do too. Wish they had something similar when I was a kid. I actually bought this b/c it's something I would have wanted. Just lucky he liked it too.
