I purchased this item to not only entertain my daughter with a BPA-Free rattle but to also use it as links for many of her toys.
First, Infantino is one of the few companies that strives for bpa free items including their links, the most common item that babies place in their mouth.
Used as a rattle, my baby can play quietly and alone. She loves the different textures.
Used as links, I can connect the rattle or other items to my jacket or stroller and not worry about her throwing her toy onto the dirty ground.
This is a great toy that is multifunctional. A+ Infantino.

Pros:
Functional, different than the typical links that only come in primary colors, not the typical all round or all oval link pack, the 2 texture links include a texture that is softer on the gums.

Cons:
No black and white ring (those appeal most to newborns and have been my daughter's favorite since she was 3 weeks old and now she is 5 months), not that many links for the price (can get 20 links from Crico for same price), and so far my daughter has not shown more preferance for these over the plain other links we have.

These links are great! I think they are ageless too. Little guy has been playing with them since he came home from the hospital. Much better quality than other brands!

My 1 year old loves these teether rings. We clip them on her car seat and she likes taking them apart and playing with them. They are very colorful and draw the babies attention and they are very easy to clean and re-use later and you can take them most anywere.
