    Comments about Buena Vista Baby Einstein: Playtime Music Box and Traveling Melodies CD:

    My 4 month old son LOVES the Traveling Melodies. I play a variety of music for him, including traditional classical music, but he really prefers the Baby Einstein music- he hates car rides and will usually scream the entire time he is in the car, but calms down almost immediately when I put the Traveling Melodies on! (And they aren't terribly annoying for me to listen to like a lot of childrens music)

    I'm not as crazy about the Playtime MusicBox (that's why I gave it 4 stars)- but my son likes that CD also!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Personally I don't like listening to the music and my son doesn't either. If you're going to expose your child to classical music you are better off getting a true classical music CD which will be half the price and the quality of music is far better than this. The "children's songs" are not pleasing to listen too and sound electronic. There isn't good modeling of singing on the CD for children to learn from. I wouldn't spend money on this, I'm glad it was given as a gift, or I would be more disappointed.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
