The bright illustrations and the mirrors are very captivating for my little one. As he's gotten older (now 5 months), he's wants to put it in his mouth though. I wish it were cloth or plastic so he could, that's why I rated this 4 stars. Another feature which would be nice is different textures for the illustration.
If you have other Baby Einstein toys, it's nice to see the same faces in all the products.
We read it so much, I know it by heart!

My now four month old daughter has loved this book since she was two months old. It never fails to bring a huge smile to her face. Funny thing is, the mirrors aren't what she smiles at, it's the large-eyed characters that catch her attention. The vocabulary is short and simple so its easy to read to young babies. Overall, a great book.

Both of my girls have loved this book. I start to read it to them when they're really little (about 2 or 3 months). It's a great book to introduce your babies to reading. I think every new mom should have this book.

I thought my son would like this since he LOVED Violet's House (another Baby Einstein book). However, he wasn't too thrilled with it. He's 14 months old and he picks it up once in a while and looks at the pictures but it is not a book that he likes me to read to him. Maybe he'll grow into it.

Well, I can't say enough about this book....when I first read it, I liked it because of the clear nice illustrations and the mirror effect, BUT let me tell you my son LOVES IT!!!! I have been reading it to him since he was 2 Months old and he ABSOLUTELY GOES CRAZY about it.He is 7 and a half months old now. Whenever he sees the characters in the book, he giggles and smiles. Don't hesitate for a second, simply GET IT NOW!!! Enjoy and good luck with your baby. It's a JOY :)
