    This is an abridged version of the classic; not an exact reproduction (including pictures). I was hoping the sliding fish along the top would be the same colors as described in the book, but they're not. Still, my 11-month-old granddaughter likes the book, so I'm satisfied in an average kind of way. For right now, until she develops her fine motor skills and while she enjoys the sound of ripping paper, I'm satisfied with this book despite my disappointment.

      It is an abridged version of the original book and it is perfect for tiny ones. I agree with another reviewer that it would be nice if the plastic fish on top were the same colors used in the book but in spite of that my daughter still loves the book. SOme days she will have us read to her 20+ times, no exaggeration. It was a great babyshower gift.

                Sturdy book and the moving fish are cool. He likes to bite the fish now that he has some teeth. The only negative is the book is very short, I thought it was the entire "One Fish, Two Fish" story in baby book form. It's about 10 pages.
