          Our son chose this book when he was about 9-12 months old. He's 3 now and still enjoys reading it with us regularly! He loves the bright, colorful illustrations. He asks me to "roar" like all 6 lions, and jumps and makes "monkey" sounds for the 8 jumpng monkeys. The text is sparse, but it makes for a quick read when there's other things to get done. Would recommend.
