My niece received this gift for Christmas last year when she was 8 years old. She gasped when she saw it and hasn't stopped thanking me for it. My sister-in-law said it has occupied her for a long time. She took pride in her work and often wore her creations to school and elsewhere. I'm not sure how uncle Greg is going to top that gift this Christmas.

My daughter received this for Christmas last year and she still uses it. There are lots of gorgeous beads. To get this quantity and variety of beads at a craft store would surely cost more than twice as much as this kit.

One of the reasons we chose this kit was for the beading tray, but this was a big dissapointment. It is very flimsy, and could be easily torn. I guess I was expecting it to be made of stiffer plastic than the thin flexible material it is made from.

The other complaint I have is that most of the pink beads fade with skin contact.
