This product is poorly designed. The shaft that holds the handle bar assembly together is cheaply made and would not hold the three pieces together. The pieces do not fit well and the neck area closest to seat scrapes the bike frame. After using this less than 5 or 6 times it is on the way to the dump. What a terrible 1st birthday present. This was a gift from someone who purchased it online and wasn't able to see the MADE IN CHINA design.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
