This easel looks great on paper, but vague assembly instructions and a warped back-board wasted nearly 45 minutes of my time. The instructions are photo-only (no text) very light grayscale and nearly impossible to understand. Once we gave them up and decided to go by common sense, assembly was pretty simple. UNTIL we got to the backboard (where you draw). It comes in two vertical halves (to ease portability) but the halves were warped, creating a 1/4" split straight down the middle - no way anyone could draw or paint on it. Ridiculous waste of time and money. Don't bother!!!!!!

It is cute and handy! The girls love to pull it out and play school and draw. It is a great easel for little kids who just want to play!

I bought this easel for my 8 year old for Christmas 2007. He still loves it, almost 2 years later. We have put it away and put it back together again several times. It is very easy to do. Only takes a couple minutes. If you are having trouble taking it down and putting it back up, then you are not doing it right. Yes, the FIRST time you put it together it takes some time, but after that it is a breeze. Nothing has broken and our two writing surface are still flush with each other. Order your replacement paper directly from Mega Brands. Would highly recommend, especially if you want to save space.

This product is very flimsy and the most important part of an easel is the drawing surface. This one has a two piece drawing surface that is not flush and can be a safety hazard for pinching little fingers. Very difficult for little ones to draw or write across.
Returned this and purchased the Crayola Magnetic Double Easel, which is very sturdy and easy for little ones to use.

This Easel is pretty good, HOWEVER, dont buy it since ALL stores choose NOT to carry the replacement paper. NO other roll paper fits since you need 14" paper NOT 18". If the stores start carrying the replacement paper THAN it would be worth buying!!

I read the reviews online before I bought it and had mixed feelings about it. However, I went ahead and got it anyway because I really liked how it would fold up and store easily.

I absolutely hated this easel when we got it home. The seam is extremely irritating and on ours, one side of it was a bit bowed. So, it did not line up at all. Not even close. It was impossible to draw on or really even use. What's the point of having something easy to store when not in use if it will NEVER get used.

We'll probably replace it with the Melissa and Doug one - which is what I should have bought in the first place!

My 3 yr old loves this and uses it everyday. It was easy to assemble, but we have not taken it down to travel with yet. Easy to keep everything in one place.

My neices and nephew love to draw. They are ages 6,3, and 2 and all of them love it. Great size so all three of them can draw on it. They think Aunt Keke is the best!!!!!

I bought this for my kids last year for christmas and recently had to throw it in the trash because the top, plastic part broke in half. It is super cute and has a large storage bin on bottom. My kids loved it and played with it regularly. i am considering buying another one because they played with it so much. Although i will not pay full price for it considering the outcome. I originally paid something like $25 or $30 for it (Black Friday) which is about as high as i would go on it.

My daughter is three and she loves this easel. It is a shame that you can not buy replacement rolls at any local stores. Despite this fact, I think it is a good value for the price.
