It is a good looking truck, but it is slow and battery only last 15 min if you are lucky. it does not go in grass and barly goes in gravel and carpet. battery needs to be bigger to give it power.

I purchased two of these as a gift for my 7 year old and 4 year old grandsons. It was so great, and easy to use. Even the 4 year old picked up on the easy remote control.

I would recommend this product for any age because it's so sturdy!

Thought I was getting a black truck. I ordered two of these trucks, one red and one black. Two red arrived??? So now my two son's get there trucked confused. Of course they have already lost interest in the trucks because the battery pack only last 10 to 15 minutes, if that. Plastics body is very thin and cheap. Looks cool, but thats about the only good thing with this R/C.

The batteries drain fast! Even though we followed the first time charging instructions, it only lasts about 15 min. We bought it for our 4 year old, so he gets bored with it about that time anyway. I wouldn't recommend it for older children though...

We thought these were a great deal,[...] Just wanted to warn anyone who really cares, that what came to us were not Silverados at all -- but Jeeps. When they say "style may vary", apparently that's what this means. Not just a different looking Silverado, but a different vehicle altogether.

You can't beat this for the price. Its large, very large, at 1/8 scale its almost 2 feet long. The body is a very thin plastic shell, but that describes most "store bought" R/C cars these days. Pros include: Size and speed for the price. You can get 4 of them and flip a switch to race them together as they have 4 seperate frequencies to choose from. Its also quick for its size, as fast as smaller "monster truck" vehicles you can also buy. If you are looking for a cheap, big and fun R/C, this shouldn't be missed.Cons: Monster Truck in name only. Not really designed for grass, struggles on my lawn, of course this would apply to all but the most expensive R/C cars. Don't expect to take this in the mud or anything like that, its at its best on hard surfaces or packed dirt. Basically this is a larger scale version of the "Generic [$] R/C cars" you can buy almost anywhere. Also note, this truck..while not heavy..due to its size does build up some momentum, and you have to be careful as it doesn't stop on a dime, even when you slam it into referse. You don't want to hit something with this truck going full-bore. One other thing to note, it doesn't have the greatest turning radius, so use indoors would be frowned upon.But in the end, how can you beat a gigantic R/C truck at this price? You can't. Get two!
