I own a private preschool in Atlanta. There is no better diaper disposal solution on the market, except perhaps the Diaper Genie II Elite. All others are messy, smelly, a hassle, and a waste of money.

The diaper genie II system is ok. I'm glad I didn't spend my money on this (got it at the baby shower. It doesn't block out intense odors and the pale starts to smell too. I thought these bag refills had 7 layers blocking the odors. They don't work to well if the pale starts to stink after every bag change(which is often). If it were only pee-pee diapers going in there it would be great! Luckily, letting the pale air out for a few hours does the trick

This diaper can is great and the bags do hold many diapers. I have never smelled the diapers and I only change the thing once a week! The only problem is that the refills are expensive. But I still think they're worth the expense.

We use the diaper genie EVERYDAY! If anyone is having problems, they have not read the instructions! It is the BEST invention ever! Absolutely NO ODOR!

I was super excited to get the diaper genie. everone was talking about it. its not that great. you get your hands kind of icky pushing the diaper down into the disposal system. Also, my husband cut his hand on the plastic rim of this diaper baggie contraption.

Try the Diaper Champ... you don't have to buy bags for it and you don't touch diaper pushing it down

This product is nice. Works well, We go through a refill cartridge about every three weeks. We fill ours till its overflowing and then change it. Had one bag tear on me and diapers went all over the place but thats probably my fault. Would recommend!

The genie itself could be taller..seems a little short.

they are so much b etter than the ones from the past they hold odor better and have had not one failure to close completely even with larger sized diapers #5.

this was on a friend's registry, so I got them for her, but I am not a fan. It's too much of a hassle to change the cartridges. The Diaper Champ is a lot easier which requires only regular trash bags.
