Bought these when one of my toddlers starting pulling out the plugs and scratching the walls. Found them easy to use and install. Just installed over 5 outlets in under 30 minutes. The only problem I had is that it won't work with the outlets that DO NOT have a screw in the middle (we have a few in our house that have a screw at the top and one at the bottom instead). Other than that, could not be happier with the product or the cost.

I bought this because my 9 month old likes to pull plugs out of the wall. We have a surge strip plug that we tried to use this with. It was nearly impossible to open and it didn't work with the thicker cord of the surge strip. I am very disappointed, so far Safety 1st products are 0 for 3 in my book.

i liked this idea but i couldnt even get it open to install. not me or my really strong friend or my husband. when we all finally got it open it wouldnt even fit the plug we wanted to keep my son from pulling on. so FYI it dose not fit large plugs like one on a power strip.

If you have some plugs/outlets that you don't mess with often this is perfect. It's not the easiest to open, but definately worth it. I use it for the plugs from my china hutch and the plugs for my floor lamps. It's thin so it doesn't widen the plate, but covers the entire plug area. Easy to install. I looked at the comparable covers and they were too wide. This was perfect for what I needed. My daughter who is two now doesn't mess with them at all anymore.

Two problems I have...One is that only small cords will fit into it, the other is that it is hard to get on and off, so don't use it for outlets that you are often plugging and unplugging things into. On the plus side, I feel confident that the baby couldn't get it off. If only they made this in a bigger size two fit a/c adaptors. (There's a bigger one with "cord shortening" but its also too small for thicker cords).

It is difficult to open, even for an adult. I thought the point was so that an adult to access the outlet, but a child cannot. I got five packs of these, but I have decided to take them back (except for the one I opened to try out) and will try to figure out something else to block outlets from baby's fingers when she gets old enough to get into trouble.

It was nothing like I had seen in previous years for the problem my girlfriend had with her grandson. But, in fact, probably a lot better. It will take two grown adults to get it apart before attempting to use it. It sure keeps adults from opening it, hope it does the same for a 5 year old.

This product does what it says. Easy to install and keeps the kids from pulling cords out of the walls. This company also sell an expandible cover that fits AC adapters and large plugs, even if upside down! Not on-line, just in the store. Buy them both!

These are pretty difficult to open. I guess that's the point.

One thing to keep in mind is that only standard plugs will fit inside of this. It won't fit larger plugs (i.e. cell phone charger, A/C adapter, etc.)
