The only reason this product didn't get a 5 star rating for me is because we have some older outlets that the plug was too big for. Other than that, they work perfectly for what we need them for. We run a daycare and, of course, these need to be in the outlets in all rooms. The children cannot get them out, sometimes the adults cannot get them out either, but that just means they work well! :)

This product is great! I was a little worried about some of the reviews advising that it was difficult to remove but after using them myself with no trouble at all I found that they are perfect! The difficulty of removing them for a child is exactly the point. I am a mom of 3 and found these are the best outlet plugs I have ever found.

These are almost impossible to remove. I've never come across anything like them. They are adult proof.

I think these outlet plugs are great. They take some effort for me to remove, so I know my daughter can't remove them. I have them on every outlet in the house and I have never had a problem with them.

We started out with the basic outlet covers and well... our little girl takes them out no problem. Since we have outlets that don't have a center screw we had to find single plugs that work and these are awesome! They are even difficult for adults to get out. We bought one box and I am on now to purchase another box. I appreciate that they are tough for adults because I know my toddler cannot get them out. We basically only need to get them out to vacuum! I wish we would have gotten these from the very start.

They're super safe, but TOO safe that it makes it almost impossible to take out the cover everytime you need to use an outlet. Absolutely a pain for somebody like me who has weak hands. I immediately returned them and got the original ones instead.

If your goal is to keep your child(ren) from sticking things in the outlets get these covers. Yes they are hard to remove but they should be! I have used pretty much every other plug type cover and my son always figures out how to remove them.

These I can't even remove without a screw driver to pry them off. I don't see this as a drawback. He tried for about 15 minutes to pull these off, before giving up, and couldn't even budge them.

A little bit inconvenience for our son's safety is fine by me anytime.

The safety latch that is supposed to latch in the ground-plug never engaged and the plug was as easy to pull out as I plugged it in without using any of the safety buttons supposedly necessary for removal. It would be safer to use the finger-nail-breaking plain plastic plugs that are also cheaper. I tried it on several different outlets with the same disappointing results. This item will go back to the store.

Well, the goal has been met. My child can't pull the safety covers off--but either can Mommy!!! Horrible!! Impossible to get off--you feel as if you're going to pull the whole socket out of the wall!

These are the most horrible baby product that I have bought to date. I thought the idea was terrific, but only my husband is able to remove these outlet covers, and even he has some difficulty. I realize that the whole point of outlet covers is for them to be difficult to pull out of the sockets, but these are just ridiculous. However, I'm sure they would be fine if you NEVER EVER planned to use electricity in your house again. For instance, I'm sure the Amish would think these are great. But because I am "English," and my husband is not here to pull them out every time I need the outlet, these are going back to the store... Just as soon as he gets them out for me.*NOTE* There is a small chance that my particular package is defective. These covers have tabs on either side that have to be simultaneously squeezed, along with a tab on the top, to pull them out of the outlet. The tabs on the right side of all of the covers in the package that I purchased are fixed in the pushed in position. Maybe that has cause the mechanism to freeze, I'm not sure, but it doesn't matter anyway because they don't work. I did see that another reviewer has had the same problem.
